The retired editor bug must be fixed because today I'm the editor of Peyton Place. I (think) I very vaguely remember watching this once, even though it's older than I am :shock: It was the starting point for some very famous actors though, plus it's a new guide for me :D I need one more show to have the nice round number of 20 shows (2 if tv.com ever decides to delete 'my' version of Hi-di-hi), but I haven't thought about what show to get next, I'll have to finish this one first ;)

Well, if we ever needed proof there were different servers involved in keeping track of our level here on tv.com, I present this screencap:

As you can see, my profile in the picture still says level 49 (79%) but if I look at the little info box shown when browsing the forums, I'm already level 50 :D :D Posts on the forum also have me as level 50 YAY (after a little submitting frenzy, I'm now very curious to see what percentage of level 50 ;) )

My never-ending quest at trying to catch up with the rest of the world (tv-wise) means that as much as I would like to make a few more submissions in order to finally reach level 50, I simply can't seem to manage to find the time because I'm actually watching tv instead of submitting. Phew, that was a long sentence ;)

Over the last few days I've been watching this:

I finished Weeds season 1 and am working on season 2 :D Some great episodes and some storylines I did not like, but all in all, I love the series. Celia and Nancy are favourites, I used to like Silas but he's turned into a right little spoilt jerk (at least as far as I've seen the show).

In between Weeds episodes, I also watched two movies: Zathura (the sequel to Jumanji without Robin Williams but still very enjoyable mainly due to the space theme) and Epic Movie (which was ridiculously funny with the emphasis on ridiculous :D

Yay, by exactly one percent I managed to reach a new level. Level 48 meaning I'm now a conehead :D

OK, cliffhangers grrrr I understand the need for them, keep people on the edge of their seat, eagerly awaiting the next episode, but that doesn't mean I have to like them ;)

The one I'm talking about in this particular instance is this one:

The season finale, instead of providing answers, it only brought up more questions and the dreaded cliffhanger :evil: I have to admit, it works, I can't wait for what happens next LOL

As for 'Cancellations' :( I've just discovered that the SciFi Channel will not continue with The Dresden Files. :cry: Admittedly, the books are better, but the shows was great too. Once BSG ends, they will only have Eureka left, so I don't understand why it was cancelled.

Hello all :)

Anyone remember me?? I had four weeks holiday and I've got to go back to work tomorrow, so I'm slightly depressed. At the beginning of my holidays I decided to take a break from tv.com. I was getting really annoyed with the site, things didn't work the way they were supposed to, we kept getting promises that things were going to improve and stuff was going to get passed on to tech support staff to get fixed, but it never really did. So, instead of continuing to try and submit and start to hate the site,I decided a break was what I needed, a clean break at that,I'm sorry for not being around and for not reading blogs and for not keeping up to date with what's happening on the site. Still, I now look forward to coming here again and reading about everyone's goings on, I hope I made the right choice. I didn't want to spoil the fun aspects of the site, which I still enjoy and look forward to.

So, what's been going on here, is everything working ??? Everyone still alive and kicking?? Any monumental changes and improvements that I need to know about? Which bugs are still there ;)

The only thing I did do on tv.com is write reviews. I had sooo many DVDs and other stuff lying around at home that I needed to catch up with. I watched loads and loads of movies (Transformers, Disturbia, Dr Strange, Bobby, Match Point,The Black Dahlia,Zodiacto name but a few) I watched the complete 4400 (well, everything that's aired so far) and I started to watch What About Brian (which has ended, so once I've caught up, that's it :D ). I still watched the new episodes of Kyle XY, Eureka, Flash Gordon, John from Cincinnati and Greek and I'm looking forward to catching it up with even more old stuff.

Besides watching all of that !!! I also managed to get away for a while and spent some time in a terribly expensive hotel, this one:

and did various other useful and less useful things during my absence, which has now come to an end :D

Now for the Shock - Horror part!!

I reveived a PM from Danmod telling me that one of my guides (Hi-de-hi) is actually a duplicate guide so he wanted to give me time to save the info before it's deleted :cry: It's one of those guides that was work in progress, so I won't lose too much, still, I hate to lose any guide that I put effort into and 585 CPs is some effort.

I'll never reach my current aim of 20 guides in this way :( (not submitting doesn't help either ;) )

I've been slowly working on cast and crew for my biggest guide (not necessarily my best or most popular but the one with the largest number of episodes) but now I need to find some guides that I can acquire, without too much effort hopefully LOL I'm lazy ;)
