Finally: a new level / London

Yay, finally, level 19: Fall Guy (I even remember that series LOL)

For the people who submit my, on average, 1 submission per two months ;) I'll be away for 3 days from Friday :D I'm getting on the plane early (very, very early) on Friday morning and going to London for a weekend reunion with some friends (and some shopping ;) ) I'll be back on Sunday evening (very, very late) so that poor, lonely submission will have to wait till Monday ;)

My current aim, 2000 submissions is a LOT. About 800 more to go :( Oh well, I should get a new show editorship soon, I hope)

Level 19 - 15 %

New editorship and bored of 1 percent level increase

My latest editorship:

Paul Eddington whom I remember from the UK comedy The Good Life but is probably best known for his role in the truly excellent political comedy Yes Minister :D

Despite submitting quite a lot, there's still no real percentage increase. I'm getting bored with 1 percent a day, no matter how much work you do

I watched the latest eps of Battlestar, Dresden Files and Heroes, the latter two were excellent and Battlestar was quite good. Now I've got to catch up and watch the lastest Lost episode. Avoiding spoilers has become quite tricky ;)

A Quick Thank-You

Nothing really new to report, been submitting a bit to various guides and work is quite busy :( but I really wanted to thank Alex (Aplourey) for making me a TC to Jeremy London :D

Thanks :D

Level 18 - 29 % (gggggrrrrrrrrr)

Two new editorships

Despite only a 5 percent level increase Grrrrr, I managed to get two new editorships :D

First off,  the show editorship for A Peaceable Kingdom

An obscure, short-lived family show featuring a post-Bionic woman Lindsay Wagner and a post-Dukes of Hazzard Tom Wopat as a brother and sister working in a zoo.

My second new editorship is for a person: Andrew Springer.

This is a bit of an odd one. I was looking through my list of old submissions trying to locate a pending one and found a submission to this guy, sometime mid 2006. Now I didn't and still don't remember why I submitted that, but anyway. I did. He's got one credit to his name LOL but even so, he needs an editor and I'm it ;) :D Let's hope he becomes very popular !!

Level 18 - 28 %

TV.com friends / Millennium / The end of the O.C.

After my previous blog, I can happily report that I've now got all 4 of the major emblems :D

Formulakaz was kind enough to make me a Trusted Contributor for Robert Doornbos, a Dutch F1-wannabe driver :D Thanks very much. Alex also offered to make me a TC as well ! Aren't tv.com friends great !!

I also managed to make over a 1000 submissions, I think over 200 of them in the last week or so :) (which is too bad cause the level update hasn't run now for four days in a row :( )

Finally, literally, the series finale of The O.C. was aired on Fox. I loved it, especially the last 20 minutes or so. The flashbacks were great, the flashforwards were even better. I 'm very sad it's ended though.

Level 18 - 21 %

3/4 of the way there / new emblems / new editorship / level increase

Way back when I started posting on tv.com (which is actually less than a year ago ;) ) and before I realised this site wasn't ALL about the emblems :D my aim was to get the four major emblems:

 Show editor

 Person editor

Trusted contributor to a show guide, and

Trusted contributor to a person guide

Well, as of this afternoon (local time), I'm 3/4 on the way :D

I only need the TC for a person emblem to make my life complete ;) As soon as I figure out for whom, I'll have to start submitting and hope for the best. I feel person guides are much more difficult than show guides, but I managed the editorship for one :D I present

My first person guide editorship is for Glynis Barber.

I first saw her as Soolin in Blake's 7 but most will probably know her as Harriet Makepeace in Dempsey and Makepeace.

This is my other new emblem, somehow I managed to get more than 20 friends (and I thank each and every one of them, :D )

My latest editorship is for the 90s comedy Weird Science, the tv series based on the movie.

Finally, to end this long blog, I'm quite upset that all this work gave me only a 1 % level increase :( I do hope Missrib's stage 2 will take old submissions into account !

Level 18 - 19 %

Ignoring tv.com friends and new level

I'm not ignoring you people, I wanted to comment on being in the spotlight and on ways to keep hubby occupied, but the site won't let me post comments :(  Earlier I lost all my levels again but even now that I got my proper level, I still can't comment !!

There's more bugs on this site than in the average zoo ;)

Talking about levels, I'm now level 18: Land Shark :D Gaining levels really becomes a lot of work now ...

Level 18 - 11 %

Top 1000 emblem

Wow

I was thinking, my emblems look odd, then I realised, I got a new emblem :D

I now have "one of the top 1,000 point scores"

Yay

Level 17 - 91 %

Another level and another emblem

Yay, level 17 now: The Crazy Neighbor :D

plus a new emblem, the surfer for posting more than 500 message board posts (I also got the emblem for the Housewives poll week 4, but that doesn't really count ;) )

I finally managed to make time and watch Heroes :D (well, the first 8 episodes. Six more to go, so you'll know what I'm doing this Sunday :D )

Snow

Well, the forecasters got it right. We actually had some snow!!

snow february 2007

It was dangerously slippery on the roads and I did regret not getting winter tyres (but they're soooo expensive and what are the odds of this type of weather??). Apparently, the snow will be gone by tomorrow again, as rain is forecast for later on. It's still below freezing point, so the roads will still be very dangerous. Fortunately, I don't have to go to work tomorrow, so I can stay indoors and enjoy the view :D
