[QUOTE="stevendiep_100"]15+ FPS is smooth. The human eye cant tell the difference between 15 FPS and 100 FPS. koza_76

The human eye can tell better difference by blurring. If you see something blurred you think it's moving fast, so if you have 15 fps on a crips and clear looking game, not blurred, you see the difference and it's slow.

correct..go to tweakguides and find the fps test somewhere..there is proof for alll those ignorant people. Not you tho.

25+Fps? you are having a joke man, try playing a game like CSS at that frame rate and play it online, you wont be so happy then. 60+ for no slideshow.

Galamode

I've heard the eye sees anything around 25-30 fps as completely fluid and normal, no slideshow at all

That is incorrent your eye can easily see the difference between 30 and sixty there is even a test somewhere at tweakguides.com that proves it.

i think it depends on which controller were talking about... 360 is basically built for fps with perfect analog placement. if it was a 360 controller id prefer it. any other ones id take a m&k over itGoobafish

perfect analog placement lol... i don't care waht controller you have...mouse is better for FPS.Period,comma,excamation point.

People are saying Bioshock with a controller is better but it's easier to aim (obviously) and it's easier to switch the plasmids and weapons with a mouse scroll wheel.they even said so in a review. As well as myself trying it. So no the controller is not "all around advantage" over the mouse and keyboard.

[QUOTE="nutcrackr"]at 640x480?DarkRecruit

Probably, I have a 7600GS overclocked to 7600gt speeds and it's over 2x better then the 8500gt (and an AMD X2 4800, 2G DDR2 800MHz RAM) (http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html?modelx=33&model1=716&model2=856&chart=275) and @1024x786 fully maxed my FPS can dip down to 15-20 in some places.

MAybe it's cuz he has dx10. idk
