I have the last laugh again!

"Why did the blonde sit at the last row in the movie theatre? To have the last laugh."

Moving on from that terrible joke my title made me remember, I have outsmarted Amazon, those wily foxes 8) Yesterday, or Monday, my order wasn't even shipped, but it arrived today, one day ahead of schedule :D So I'm going to start on Ys Seven soon, and I'll probably review it and I'll just post it here. I'm listening to the soundtrack CD right now, and it kicks some serious behinds. So far I've had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, it says the security on my WLAN isn't supported  :killpetsinfitofrage: But other than that, my week so far has been a blast. That's all for now, seeya.

"Not yet shipped"

CURSE YOU AMAZONNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Good news being I bought the MGS: PW PSP off Amazon, 'cause mine broke. I also bought the Ys Seven Limited Edition, and I'll buy Persona sometime soon. I also bought Dark Void Zero from Steam, and I'll probably start playing it today. That's all folks.

Meet my latest purchase

The HP Pavillion dv6! AMD Quad, ATI HD 4250, 4 GB Ram, the real deal. I installed Steam and am downloading DA:O Deluxe or something like that. I'm sad to say goodbye to console gaming, even if just for a year, but I'm happy to be able to play the BEST EXCLUVIS WITH THE BEST GRAPHIX.

All else:

I've been buying a steady stream of manga volumes, and I'm loving RuroKen. Still haven't found Buso Renkin in stores, I'm going to buy it online if I don't find it tomorrow in Books-a-Million. School starts next week, which I'm glad for, I've been dying to meet some people my age. If you're going to school in Waynesboro High, in the third class of the day, stand up and yell "I need scissors! 61!". The one hooting like an owl will be me.

Living the American dream

I'm unpacked, and a shocking surprise was revealed: No free TVs. The only one available is being used, and it's older than me. My solution: Portables and becoming a Hermit. So, I bought a DSi XL and I'll buy a laptop next week. Life will suck without JRPGs, but it'll force me to try some new genres, which may expand my horizons.

Everything else:

I love America, despite hating the people. No offense, but everyone I've met was rude. More like, I love American shops and TV. I've gotten into some new shows like Rizzoli & Isles, and The Closer. And I looooove Borders. They have this amazing manga selection, so I bought some volumes of Reborn! and Pandora Hearts. And an awesome 3-in-1 Rurouni Kenshin. I have to drive for an hour to get there, but totally effing worth it. There's also a Starbucks I always drive by, and if I wasn`t adddicted to caffeine before, I definitely am now.

PS. I'm already broke.

I've enrolled for the 11th year in Waynesboro Senior Highschool, despite being 17, which kinda sucks. ****s start the 30th, which I'm looking forward to. If you see me, be nice.

So my vacation comes to a close.../PW Marathon!

I had a blast these last couple of weeks, but all good things must end. On a happier note, I've decided to start a little project:

The Phoenix Wright Marathon!

As the titles suggests, I'll play through all PW games in order, including AJ and AA:ME. When I finish one of the games, I'll post a blog with my review of said game. Being a huge fan of the series, I'm expecting to finish a game at least every two days. If you see a blog post with (PWM) in the title,it's going to be an update on my progress. So that's it, check back regularly.

On vacation, yay

I've been officially on vacation for about an hour. I'll have my hands full, with a lot of farewell parties, including mine. My exchange program to USA is around the corner, and I'll be staying for a year. Many of my friends will also do the program, most to the United States, but I have a friend goning to Denmark (not envious or anything... Maybe a little).

I'll also be playing Trinity Universe and

....

PERSONA EFFING 3! Words cannot describe how happy I am, I'll be playing this 24/7.

I'm just incredibly happy, in the purest sense of the word. I may have the true happiness everyone is searching for.

Not dead yet

Just a quick update. I got my hands on Portal, and promptly finished. It's an awesome game I'd recommend to everyone. Also bought FF8 and FF9. FF8 is one of the few FFs I've never even given a shot, and I'm thoroughly impressed. FF9 I bought purely out of nostalgia. I'm also planning on buying Disgaea Infinte, and that leaves with no more money, so I won't be picking up Trinity (a part of me thought I would've found some money by now, but I was sorely mistaken).

Anime: What's been filling up most of my free time. I've caught up with Bleach, though it's a bit underwhelming. I've also been watching Fairy Tail. It's nice, if not a bit childish. Also, watched Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Mao. I'm not sure if it's over yet, but from what I've seen it's a good anime with nice action sequences held down by a muddled plot. Fianlly, I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It's a lot of fun, even though I've watched the original. I don't have anything to complain about it, it's awesome.

That's it.

*broodbrood* *cry*

The 360 has once again caught fire, and I'll no longer pay for repairs (Tales Of Vesperia is coming to PS3, anyhow). So good riddance. On a happier note, my copy of Valkyria Chronicles came, and Peace Walker too. I haven't played either yet, I'm waiting 'till the weekend. Another thing that's been bugging me: SMG2. I'm stuck at what I can describe as the most cruel and asinine level I've ever seen in a Mario game. There's a fine line between a challenge and a stressful exercise in futility and abject failure. And the level has crossed the line to suicide-inducingly awful. After losing ten lives, I was lectured by that blue blob, suggesting I "take a break", which I found extremely aggravating. It's not even that hard, but I'm so ticked off that it's like I can't focus in the game, and the smallest error makes me want to lacerate myself with a rusty tin. The cherry in the crap milkshake that is my life, July second I have to choose between either spending ten hours in a bus, after which I'll spend the whole day in long lines, than going back home in another ten hour ride. Or going under the knife, with all the thrill of days of painkillers and sleepless nights.
