i love that mechanic, where the game can tell your getting cocky and then just slaps you down, it is where the dark souls comparisons come from I think...

My understanding is that out of the gate the pawns know no more about any given mob then you do, but as they fight more and more of that mob they have a chance of learning better techniques for fighting then, including the best elemental buff to use. My pawn chirps up often about how fire is good for certain mobs but doesn't mention that for others.

i would recommend going back to the fishing village and finishing up the quests there, and those on the boards in the inns, that will help build out some more levels. Head into the witchwood and rescue the lady from the fishing village, etc etc/

when you rest at an inn you get a message that your pawn has returned, in the following screens it will display who actually used them

nope, nothing like that, you just accumulate Discipline points which are the currency you use to unlock skills and the other classes as well

Don't like how they don't give you a wait option. If you're stuck out at night and nowhere near an inn, you either sit there, or brave the dark... which I don't do anymore after getting mauled by a pack of dire wolves which was spotted by a passing cyclops who decided to join in, when some passing harpies thought it looked like fun, or apparantly looked tasty to the chimara in the forest.jngbb
lol, love it! I have been mostly lucky at night, I like the goblins that are dancing on the beach at night...its worth going out to see things like that at least
