@Diablo-B Not necessarily. The fact that you think 2/3s of a group loves or has an interest in women doesn't change anything other than the over-sexualization of women. I mean, if I go to a convention geared towards video games, I want to see video games and not women trying to attract you to their booth. Most cases, it's not worth heading towards, but there is bait and the average person is thinking about doing the things they will only dream about doing with that person (because let's face it, it ain't happening).
If you are going to promote something at a convention aimed at electronics and video games, shouldn't you be advertising the device, not some woman's boobs?
@1Duy @DubYew @DS_fan_atic Whatever goes, well, goes. Can't say I'm interested in seeing them personally but if they have anything cool at their booth, I would love to see what they have. It goes for any other convention. There are tons of booths set up across any convention that you won't go to, panels you'll miss, cosplayers you couldn't glimpse. Just have to move on and enjoy what you have in front of you.
and if you don't like what is in front of you, there are other directions to look.
@xraydiego @sapphey_snake @Chaos_Dante_456 And to those I don't mind and occasionally support because there is some actual GOOD being done. There are those that do not do things like that. It's usually in the news. This con is trying to do some good too.
@xraydiego Last I checked, people DID build Gaymercon. M$ supports the con, but there is no mention here of donations or money being handed to Gaymercon outside of the kickstarter.
