I figure a lot of those people post in System Wars, and System Wars is awful.

It seems like it's a similar situation as the Game Boy and DS product lines. This is what Iwata said about those two platforms way back in 2006.
[It] will enable fun and movement not seen before. I expect it to become a third pillar, next to GameCube and Game Boy.
Compare that to what Iwata said about the NX.
Though I cannot confirm when it will be launched or any other details of the system, since I have confirmed that it will be a dedicated video game platform with a brand new concept, it should mean that we do not intend it to become a simple 'replacement' for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U [...]
It seems like the NX product line will probably be a third pillar along side Wii U and 3DS as well, at least initially. It's entirely possible that the NX will ultimately replace the Wii U, the 3DS or both of them.
I think you're onto something with the NX being a service as much as it is a console, but I don't think it'll deviate too much from their current business model. I think they'll still have two hardware configurations (dedicated console and handheld), it's just that they'll work a lot closer together this time than they ever have previously. That not only includes cross-platform compatibility with VC games, NNIDs, and Miiverse but also with a lot of cross-platform games. Right now, the Wii U and 3DS share similar applications like Miiverse, NNIDs, Mii Plaza/Wara Wara Plaza -- but they don't really work together well. I can only really even think of two instances where you they interact with one another -- Smash Bros and MH3U.
I expect the future platforms to be a lot like what Apple, Microsoft and Google have done. Convergence. One OS/Architecture that works across multiple product lines. OS X/iOS, Windows Phone/Windows 10, Android/Chrome all work almost the same way now on Desktop, PC and Mobile. I think Nintendo will end up building a console and handheld around the same concept where the NX Console, NX Handheld, Mobile, Desktop are all tightly knit by the same architecture and functionality.
This time of the year is so nice for yardwork! We've had a ton of rain lately for our lawn is coming in nicely.. was worried about it going in right before wintertime but that's just how the construction Time line worked out. Have the greenest, softest grass on the street thanks to my Fiskars mower ;) Ordering a trimmer and edger tonight, decisions decisions...
Also going to put a flower bed in the front yard and put roses in for Mrs. WreckEm711, so yeah. House things. We also have two long vacations this summer, so I plan on not being indoors much in the next few months :D
Maintaining the front and back yard is something I dread when I live on my own. At least, I don't look forward to mowing the lawn!
Where are you headed for your vacation? I'm planning a small trip this summer to Montreal with my girlfriend - but I want to travel overseas if I can sometime this year. Japan is a place I've always wanted to go to but it's pretty damn expensive.
@ttualumni13:Yeah, I'm actually surprised how well it runs on the 3DS. The only thing I find worse I guess is the impact of the huge scale. It's a bit harder to see on a small screen compared to a TV, but I'm still early on in the game.
@roboccs: Yes! All the music is so good, I found a playlist I could listen to while at work... which makes me just want to play Xenoblade even faster. lol.
I finally beat Majora's Mask, so I ended up buying Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. I never finished Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii but considering I take my 3DS everywhere and play on my commute, it seemed like a good choice.
The first thing I remembered when I started it was the music and how awesome the story is. So good.
Splatoon is a bad game
I used to think it was just for kids, now I'm not sure who it's for.
No one can be happy with the gameplay and modes
Only one of your sentences has a period at the end.
The other two don't. Be consistent!
Also since the name of the board changes I don't think you fit the criteria here anymore. You hate fan clubs.
So I'm playing through Majora's Mask again since I have some downtime this weekend. I just finished the Great Bay temple. That one was pretty confusing but not too bad. Collecting the straying fairies has been pretty annoying, but it was totally worth it for this dungeon.
I haven't done a lot of side quests, but honestly I'm kind of lost trying to figure out how to do them. You really do need to talk to absolutely everyone. Even though Nintendo updated the Bomber's Notebook, I'm still pretty confused about some of them. I feel like this Zelda game is full of more secrets than any of the others I've played so far.
Finally have some time to play games. I'm playing Majora's Mask, I need to finish it. I'm on the Zora area, collecting eggs -- but I only have two bottles...
