You can get a second Palico through DLC? That'd be good information to have if anyone could share.
I fought another Yian Kut-Ku in an arena quest since I needed some of its drops for the Chick Decapitator great sword. After the fight I realized you can't actually carve any drops from the monsters in an arena quest. Instead, you just get a bunch of items. First-aid Med, meal vouchers, etc. If you beat the monster within the stipulated time, then you get a coin based off of the monster -- but I have no idea what it can be used for.
Ubisoft requries that many hands on deck because they RUSH those games out to fit into their annual deadline.
There is something to be said about Nintendo not rushing their stuff out. It sucks to wait for it but the end result is always a GAME THAT ACTUALLY WORKS OUT OF THE BOX!!
I think this game has been in development for 5 years...
My question is how a game that takes 5 years to complete can be profitable. Especially when it's a niche genre on a niche platform... I love my WiiU but it is in the niche audience category at this point. If profit margins on games are as low as people say (I think people say it's like 4-5% or something; maybe I'm wrong) they need to sell a lot to make money on it.
You think that's bad, just imagine the mess that is Final Fantasy XV! Announced at E3 2006 and it hasn't been released yet. It's almost been 10 years and it's gone through two directors. I can't even imagine how much money they sunk into that game, I find it hard to believe that they'll ever make a return on that game.
Well I'm friends with you and Jordan, used to be friends with TT before his info got jacked.
If this place was gone I'd probably make a board on my site to check in at least. I don't know what I'd do without the constant barrage of people in here hating adult life so they need to cling to Nintendo like if they can just get a shred of their 8 year old self back they wont kill themselves. Can't forget Wiifan's constant game of "you thought Mormons were odd? Well check THIS out!".
I don't know where I'd go for a board. IGN's is patrolled pretty poorly and reddit? Christ, the guy who made IMDB's system looks like a master craftsman.
Even though I'm incredibly antisocial these days I do like knowing there's a group of people I get along with around.
I really like it. I've only lurked so I could see it over time, but it is very active, very little trolling, and a very active OT lounge. The 3DS boards aren't as high calibre, but all the news is posted in the Wii U board so it's kind of both in one.
I'll have to make an account and test the waters!
Sounds cool!
I think I'll stick to this fishpockets account instead of my HaziqAgha account. I must remain slightly anonymous
