Let me see if I got this straight...
You are absolutely fine with leaking information that has the potential to get innocent people hurt or killed.
I hate the fact that PRISM exists, and I loathe the gov't for thinking it was okay to spy on me despite not ever having done anything remotely treasonous, but I do not condone what Snowden by any stretch.
He betrayed information to our enemies (al Qaeda, et al) that will cause them to change their methods of communication, which could make detecting the next terrorist attack harder to detect, and could easily cost innocent civilians their lives.
On top of that, he damaged international relations with nations that are out allies. That will make intelligence sharing even more difficult, and could allow even more terroist atacks.
He is absolutely a traitor, regardless of what you or the Asshole-in-Chief says. Anyone who defends him is just as guilty of that treason.

I am absolutely, 100%, ok with someone exposing what our Government is doing behind our backs to its own citizenry. If that puts some folks in danger, then the Government that created this conundrum should be the one to blame as it is the traitorous institution that had to be exposed.
I hope he wins, and I sincerely hope it bothers the hell out of the folks sitting here calling the whistleblower the villain.
No one is supporting the NSA, we hate snowden for the OTHER stuff he did which puts countless people in danger.
