Anyways, PC games are quite a bit cheaper to develop. After all, game makers use computers to create the game - so it's a lot easier to play the game you're making on the same platform that you're creating it on. Also, console manufacturers charge developers for hardware, licensing, and SDKs. Developers don't want to take the hit financially, so it trickles down the customer.

SentientGames

don't know about that... because if you make a console game you know what the hardware is....... as for pc's we all have difrent systems and parts.

to get back on topic games here are between 45 and 50 euro :S wish it was a bit cheaper though

http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php

but keep track of you computer temperature by using maybe everest or a other program.

I hope you have good cooling because most boxed coolers only let you overclock a very small amount.

and use cpu benchmarks to look if it's stable (maybe a pc mark)

and always do small steps then check....if good try a bit higher and so on.

I still would recommend clocking through the bios because otherwise you need to run this program on the background (not that it's that big but stil...) but some prefab computers like dell have locked bioses and then this program is handy.

hope this helps and good luck

Definitly not a future proof pc

If youre a serious gamer I would suggest to save more money :D

on that machine I would only reccomend playing games that are at least a year old (and even then you won't be able to play those in all it's glory)

what's your budget and what is your main use of the pc ?

Play the game again. MUCH more fun if you know the storyline, also try to get your friends back into it again. MMORPGs are not nearly as much fun alone than with a bunch of your real-life friends playing with you. Ignore "wow haters", most just hate because apparently it's the cool thing to do...or they dislike rpgs and were expecting something different...or only played until level 20 and thought they had experienced everything...or are bitter everyone left their old MMO to pay WoW...and so on.

-Unreal-

sorry I played the original till lvl 60 did the raid stuff plus a friend is still playing (poor him)

but it all comes down to very repetitive gameplay and grinding.

I don't think when you know a little back ground of a few characters would do much for the game

(the boring gameplay is still there and will stay there)

the only thing that kept me going in the beginning is wanting to be the strongest and best equipped (but after hours and hours and hours of raiding and getting better stuff you will never feel good about it because you can always get better.

plus is it fun raiding the same high-lvl instance a time of 20 to first of all have a chance to get a bid on a good drop ?

believe me the game is boring you will never feel satisfied, it kills your time and your life

story or not it won't get better

Coming from the guy that gives R6Vegas a perfect 10 lmao.

Anyway, mind telling me what your character name and server was? Or did you forget?

gnome warlock goodoldfart server bronzebeard why ?

plus yeah i have rainbow marked a 10 but I never finished my list or put the right scores there

so why bring that up in the post ?? because what I said a bout wow was true and that you felt bad about it and had to go personal ??

dang go grind dude and get away from here :P

Ok so you're telling us you didn't even like the game, yet you spent all that time playing it to level 60 and even doing raids just to get items.

Not a smart person are you.

or you are just blind in the beginning it's fun but it consumes to much time and after that youre never really happy with what you accomplished

and for the not a smart person

I ain't calling you a stupid M****n (what's youre problem dude ?
