HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Ahhh 2008, the year of many oppurtunities for me. I will start working, i start to knuckle down in school to determine my future career, and in the spare time i have playing many games. Ive got my music pumping (currently its Hit The Lights by Metallica), ive got 4 empty cans of Pepsi Maxto therightme and a full one in my left hand. Today me, my dad, my mum and my dog went out to Lake Eildon in Nothern Victoria for a little family outing with the boat. The day was filled with swimming, getting dragged behind the boat on a tube and some fishing. Unfortuneatly we didnt catch anything, but hopefully we will tomoro when we go to Geelong.

Here is my official Christmas blog. I would like to wish all my fellow gs users a merry christmas and to enjoy their day. Its still only the morning but everyone has so far enjoyed christmas. My dad is in the lounge room watching Band of Brothers, my mum is cooking christmas lunch and happily wearing her new Dolce & Gabbana perfume, my brother is... well... sleeping off last nights party, and im here typing this blog just after playing some Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Man it is an awesome game, and its fun to play two player with my dad, although his aim isnt what it once was. I also recieved $150 from my parents and a Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess T shirt from my brother. Its black, got the full design of Link on the front and the Twilight Princess logo on the upper back. Im very pleased with all my gifts and later on my grandma will be joining us for lunch and she will also bring some presents. Christmas so far has been very enjoyable for me and i hope everyone else around the world enjoys theirs. Merry Christmas!

Well my dad finally got his new iMac yesterday and we set it up. Heres the details on it:

Now im not much of a computer whiz, but i know that this is a pretty full on computer. So now that i got a decent computer in the house i can start buying all the great games that are coming out (bioshock, gears of war, cod 4) and use this new one until i fix up my old pc or just buy a new one. Some bad news though :( Apparently we wont be getting broadband until next year. Damn you Telstra! :x So were probably gonna cancel it and go with internode or something. Anyway that is all. For those of you who are not familar with that phrase, its from the opening song of my all time favourite anime, Cowboy Bebop. Today i bought myself the box set with all 26 episodes and heaps of extras. So far i have watch 2 of the 6 discs and i plan on spending most of tomoro watching it. For any anime fans who have never heard of Cowboy Bebop, i have two things to say to you. Those are: 1. SHAME ON YOU!! How can you call yourself a fan of anime and not heard of cowboy bebop? Its one of the most popular series of all time, the only thing that beats it is Neon Genesis Evangelion. 2. Go and watch it somewhere. Not saying you should buy the box set like me, but look around Youtube or something to get an idea of what its like. If it isnt your style, then fair enough. Or you can go buy the movie, which i will be getting next year sometime, to get an idea of what its all about. Anywho thats it for today. See ya space cowboy.

Well its 10 days till it will be christmas and this year ive decided to start buying gifts for my family since now i have my keycard. For my mum im gonna get her one of those relaxation cds that they sell at those hippie stores, for my dad im gonna buy him the dvd Brother In Arms i think its called, and for my bro im not sure. As usual i will be recieving money as will my brotehr from our parents. $200 each so that should be good for when feburary rolls around and i can buy myself No More Heroes, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 and the usb wi fi to play online.

On tuesday me and mum are gonna be going out to do the christmas shopping for the family, and that means that i can finally buy Metroid Prime 3 Corruption. Ive been looking forward to this. A few blogs ago i said i will be getting it and i lived up to that claim. Also 3 or so days ago i bought myself Counter Strike Source, so as soon as we get broadband within the next 5 or so days i will be running around trying to get as many headshots as possible, and i will also be able to play Call of Duty online properly. Playing with dial up is not good, the bullet lag is terrible. I shoot then 2 full seconds later it finally shows the black mark where it hit. I surprisingly still do good tho, often ranking 5th out of 12 - 16 people. Ive only came 1st once before and i felt pretty good knowing i beat 13 people who are probably on broadband and im on dial up, and pretty slow dial up at that.

Anyway christmas and the new yearwill be here soon and i probably wont post another blog till January, and i wanna conclude with a merry christmas and a happy new yearto all of gamespot and its users.

Edit: We had to go out for some stuff today, and so i decided to get MP3 now. Ive just woken up after being attackedby dark samus and now have the PED suit. Awesome game and the controls are really good, best FPA/FPS controls ever. Took a while for me to get used to but now its very simple and i love it. Hopefullyall next shooterswill be like this.I hope to finish it by christmas, but i probably wont.

School for the year ended at 1:03 today and i couldnt be any more relieved. This year has been a good one with its many ups and occasional downs. I've made a bunch of new friends, got re-aquainted with some old ones, and grown distant from some. The pressure of exams and work was a lot but i got by and endured the hard days works. What now awaits me is 2 months of holidays. This year we plan on renovating the house instead of taking a vacation, so i dont mind. I also got 4 of my 5 exams results back. I got:

English-83%

Math-81%

History-76%

Science-72.5%

Spanish-No idea, have to wait till i get my report, im expecting 75%

Im happy with the results all round, but i do know my Science couldve been higher, 85% at most. But i dont mind. Next year will be harder and i will try to get a better mark on that and History, which im surprised with (must've been the essay on WWIi wrote). Well the year came to a fantastic end and, altho i did get caught trying to steal teh classroom clock, it was an awesome year.

Well i have achieved my main goal here on gs so far, to be sigged by someone. The lucky person to have my name in their sig is PerilousWolf. As far as i know, this is the first person to do so, and it makes me feel appreciated. Im just hoping that it is made to show me in a good light, as what i posted was intended to point out the flaw of another, not make myself seem stupid. anyway im too lazy to type out wat it was, so if u wanna find out just look him up and one of his posts to see it.

Well my birthday was last sunday, and it was pretty good. As expected i got RE4, which ive been wanting for a while now but i dont have a job or get an allowance, so im usually broke. My bro got me a Legend of Zelda Wind Waker t shirt that looked gnarly as, but unfortuneatly he got me a small instead of a medium like i told him to, so we have to go and exchange it now. Now, as for the surprise part, my dad bought me an effects pedal for my bass guitar, and it works like a dream. He forgot to get the extra cable to plug into my amp, so i went to go get one yesterday and i also bought myself a new strap thats got a wicked, gothic pattern in red and the rest is all black. I used my mums cash card to get them, and she wasnt too happy about the strap. Anyway ive had 4 of my 5 exams so far and i know ive passed them all. Tomoro is my history and im hoping i will pass that as well. Also, using various vouchers and store deals, i shall be buying Phantom Hourglass and CounterStrike: Source. Should be a good week.

Well next week I start my end of year exams. It's kind of a drag becuase the day before my first set of exams it will be my 15th birthday. Finally i can legally watch MA15+ movies, and since my bro works at the movies i can get in for free :D. However back to exams :(.Monday i have my english and math exams. Both are pretty simple, but i will have to be prepared for my english because i have 80 minutes to right an analytical essay on 3 unknown songs and a text response essay on the movie Whale Rider. Day after that is my Science and History exam. And finally the next day is my Spanish exam. I should only fail my spanish exam like last semester but that doesnt bother me. Also i got my subjects list that i will be doing next year. Originally i was ment to be doing spanish again (unfortuneatly) but due to lack of people wanting to do it it got cancelled. YAY! Iwas being forced into it by my spanish mother since she plans on taking me and my bro to spain one day. Guess that wont happen. So now m subjects arethe usual RE, Maths B (second highest maths for year 10,I couldve done advanced math but decided against it) English and Pastoral. Now my elective subjects will be PE: Personal Fitness, History, Literature, Media, IT Hardware, Science: Life and in replacement of Spanish which took up two subjects, i will be doing Philosophy and Design. Looks like it should be a good year next year. :D
