I have FIFA 09 and have to say im very pleased and impressed with it, Gameplay is realistic and graphics look good. However after playing the demos for both FIFA 10 and FIFA World Cup, they seem to have gone backwards. PLayers look unrealistic on the pitch when playing (more like FIFA Street 3 than FIFA 09, thats and exaggeration but effectively puts across the impression they have on me). Also gameplay seems too quick and easy. I play FIFA 09 on the two highest difficulties (World Class and i cant remember the other) as it seems to give me a good challenge. But on FIFA 10 and FIFA WC it still seems too easy to push players off the ball or run straight past them. Also it seems very easy to pass it between the opposition players. There are other faults which i will notgo into, asI have mentionedmy biggest problems. But does any one else feel the same, that the two new FIFA games seem to have gone backwards from FIFA 09? I understand that these are only demos so things may have changed in the full version, but I dont feel that it is worth me 'upgrading' to the latest installments when they dont seem to have actually improved. There is so much hype and praise for FIFA 10, but i dont see why people prefer it so much.
Note: this is not a recommendation thread and I am not asking people to recommend methe bestFIFA, i am asking peoples opinions and comparisons between the FIFA games and which they feel is the best title out of the three.

for more or less the same price i can either get:
1)final fantasy 13
2)just cause 2
3)2 of these games: the saboteur, ninja gaiden sigma 1, rainbow six vegas 2 (which i really want, but is it worth it if im only gonna play the single player?) and episodes from liberty city
4)some other game? (i already got RDR..)
Either Final Fantasy XIII or Just Cause 2. FFXIII is a great RPG, Just Cause 2 is an enormous sandbox game, albeit a little mindless at times. Still cool, though. Get whichever of those types you prefer.
I would say to definately get GTA, most bang for your buck if you know what I mean. 2 great games in one. But im not sure about the other 3 in that list. Try getting GTA with something other than them. I believe there is a demo on PSN for Just Cause , see if you like it ( i ersonally didnt like the comabt in it) and i dont know about FF XIII.Other game (you seem to be into sandbox games) so try GTA IV, Saint s Row 2, Battlefield (not sandbox but huge landscape) or something like that. Overall though out of the games you listed i would say to get GTA EfLC[QUOTE="full_on_gamer"][QUOTE="_Matt_"]
Just to clarify on that, you may have a single soldier at any one point, when you create this soldier you can choose any of the factions. Then, when you reach max level 60 in that faction, you can either stay in the faction, or at any point select to go into veteran mode where you keep all your soldiers stats, medals, ribbons, leadership points etc, and get to either choose to switch factions, or stay in the same faction, starting again at rank 1.
If you decide you want to change faction before you reach level 60, you will have to delete your soldier, hence losing all your ribbons, medals etc.
Ok, thanks for both your answers. And to add to that do teams play against each other or is it just Raven vs Raven, SVER vs SVER etc. games. I read somewhere that different factions have different maps and guns, so wasnt sure if each faction can play in the same game if they dont have same maps.Interesting question, for every game mode BUT "suppression", you will play against a different faction. Suppression is basically like a team exercise game mode where 64 people of the same faction are split into 2 teams or 32 and it is basically a team deathmatch within your faction.
For every other game mode, there are 3 maps, one as a "home pitch" if you like for each faction. So whenever Raven play on their Raven map on any of the game modes, against either of the other 2 factions, they will ALWAYS defend on that map, and its the same for the other factions on their maps too. The exception to this is the new DLC game mode where all the maps will be neutral.
Thanks, great answer. Really helped, i really do like the idea of defending your map. Thanks a lot[QUOTE="GreyFoXX4"][QUOTE="full_on_gamer"]
Seriously considering getting this after reading about teamwork. One question though... Can you change team once you have chosen (SVER --> Raven) for example
Yes but you will lose your progression. After maxing out for 1 fac tion you can go veteran and change factions and get an extra 10% xp during matches.Just to clarify on that, you may have a single soldier at any one point, when you create this soldier you can choose any of the factions. I agree, but the only part of the controls i didnt like was R3 for aim rather than L2 (which i believe is the only bit that cant be changed). Otherwise great game, good pace, and good strong multiplayer (even if im not that good yet). MW2 is still great, but because of the success of CoD4, IW just assumed that adding a bit more would make it better. It didnt. I like both games but feel that KZ is completely different to any other shooter, and for that reason like it. I own every CoD game, and like them a lot, but there isnt much dfference between them and other games so they cant be called 'great' imo if they are so similar. Overall Killzone was unique, which is why i prefer it

Get Killzone to get used to story, but gameplay is gonna be different in KZ3 so dont expect it to be exactly the same. Apparently the slow, realistic effect of the character is going to be reduced, and itlll be more like other FPS games. KZ3 is not released till May 2011 so get KZ2 for now. Its a great game and will last til 3 comes outShould I get Killzone 2 or justwait for K3?

MAG BFBC2 or killzone 2? for mag.. is there still alot of people playing there? or is it dead?..... and if I were to play I would join RAVEN.. since I hear more people are on sever.. are they going to have more maps relased free for MAG? and it's tough deciding which shooter to get first.. im leaning more towards kz2 first...?TsuanthonyIve only played Killzone properly, but would recommend you get that. Its different to most other FPS games, and the story is the strongest. Online is great, and its the cheapest of them all. BC2 suffers a lot of server problems at the moment, so I would wait to get that. MAG seems good, but graphics are poor and its online only so you would probably be best getting that if your mates get it aswell.
[QUOTE="full_on_gamer"][QUOTE="dk00111"] Resistance 1 & 2.dk00111yeah, ive played R1 and took it back the next day, it was rubbish imo. my friend said to try R2, but it doesnt look much different. ill think about R2 (its £10 at my local shop, brand new) but i dont like R1 so i wont buy that again. What didn't you like about it? Umm, i cant describe it really.I tried the demo and liked it, but when I got the game there was something I didnt like. The guns were a bit unrealistic for me, and the AI was too linear, just doing the same things again and again. Its only little problems i know, but they put me off the game. As i say, theres nothing really that put me off, just something about it wasnt as good as other shooters I have got. R2 does look better, but i just worry that like R1, ill buy it and not like the game in the end.
