I would agree with everyone else, the Ballad of Gay Tony is much more fun and enjoyable, and is longer. However, The Lost and Damned has a better 'atmosphere', if you know what I mean. You feel for the character more in my opinion. Also the graphics on TLAD are a bit messed up, they are a bit fuzzy compared to GTA IV and TBOGT. I suppose it depends what your into, TLAD is a gangster biker game, whereas TBOGT is more fun, like GTA used to be. Overall I would say TBOGT, but dont write off TLAD as i enjoyed this almost as much.

God, I can't read a single thing you wrote. Be kind and change the font color for black GS theme users, please.

I havent changed the font colour, sorry you cant reead it. My screen shows it fine, just plain black. sorry though

EDIT>>> I just change my theme to black and see what you mean... sorry, i dont know why that happened. It really is hard to read, lol

I agree with what everyone else has been saying to be honest. Although I would give GTA IV no less than 9, probably even 9.5 it is small littlle niggles that hold it back.
- The music I didnt mind, some of it I knew, some of it I didnt, but it didnt take away from the game itself I wouldn't say
- Also, the friend activities that were highlighted before, added nothing to the game. Refusing someone when you need to get some where and then seeing the thumbs down was not necessary. I dont think it was a bad idea doing activities, but having the friendship strength taken away was.
- Also, I quite liked the cover system. It did what it needed and helped you through the mission. It wasnt revolutionary but it worked.
-Graphics, werent the best, but they were much better than other games. I quite liked them.
- Money was a problem, having $$$$ in yourpocket with nothing to use it on made it less of an incentive than in other games to be rich. In San Andreas you bought houses, got income from businesses etc. and that created a use for the money.
- Multiplayer was poor, but having said that I did play it with my mates for a laugh, and it was great fun, but nothing made me go back to the multiplayer when my friends werent playing it.
- The DLC was much better. Although I prefer the character of Niko than Johnny and Luiz i think the story, extras and gameplay were better on TLAD and TBoGT than in the original.

I think the overriding factor why many people didnt like IV was that it contained none of the things we had got used to in previous GTA's. It didnt have any of the things that you instantly think of when you think of GTA.

Having said all this, and I was talking about the same thing to my brother earlier, if a San Andreas/Vice City was released on the PlayStation Store, with improved graphics to match PS3 standards, they would be great. I for one would download it, and Im sure manyother people would aswell.

Oh, my favourite games are:
- CoD4
- Motorstorm Pacific Rift
- GTA The Lost and Damned
- FIFA
- Uncharted (played it before and its definately the next game that i will buy for my PS3)

I take back everything I said...
Decided to complete TLADafter posting this and I now love GTA. Probably some of the best games I have for my PS3.

Can someone recommend a really good action/ adventure/ shooter game for me. I want one thats about £20 max, push to £30 (about $30-$45 i think) and has really good gameplay and story.

Games I own:
Assassins Creed
CoD4
CoDMW2
CoDWaW
FIFA 08
FIFA 09
GTA IV
GTA Episodes from Liberty City
Killzone 2
Midnight Club LA
Motorstorm
Motorstorm Pacific Rift
NBA 2K8
NFS Shift
Unreal Tournament III

Uncharted or inFamous. Just beat both this week, can't go wrong with either one.

yeah im thinking of getting Uncharted 1 and Bad Company 1, but ive heard inFamous is great, but i wasnt sure when i played the demo. I think ill get either Uncharted 1, Bad Company 1, Resistance 2 or inFamous. All of them look grreat and are only cheap

Ok, so im looking for a game to occupy me during the long summer holidays. My exams finish in 3 weeks, then I dont have school until september. I want a good game with a long, engrossing story that is enjoyable and interesting. I also want it to be a game I can go back to and play again if I felt like it. (Online is not neccesary feature but a bonus for me)...

Games I own:
Assassins Creed
CoD4
CoDMW2
CoDWaW
FIFA 08
FIFA 09
GTA IV
GTA Episodes from Liberty City
Killzone 2
Midnight Club LA
Motorstorm
Motorstorm Pacific Rift
NBA 2K8
NFS Shift
Unreal Tournament III

Games I have been considering:
Battlefield Bad Company 2 (mainly for online)
Fallout 3 (can anyone tell me if its based around zombies coz I dont like horror survival type games)
Uncharted 2
Red Dead Redemption (coz its like GTA which I like)
Assassins Creed 2

Which of these would you recommend or are there any other games that fit my description ^^^ that you think I would like?

Thanks

Ok ive narrowed it down to either Bad Company 2 for the great online play or Red Dead Redemption as I think this is the best story based game in the list for me. Which one should I go for:
Bad Company 2
or
Red Dead Redemption
Thanks

Which games do you think have the best stories for PS3?

I really liked GTAIV, you really start to feel for Niko through the story.

(Sorry if this topic has been covered before, I couldn't find much on it)

Well i have got MW2, but im seroiusly considering buying BC2 because i have started to get really bored of MW2. I played the story twice (once on regular and once on veteran) but wont be playing through that again. Online is good at first, with loads of challenges etc. but it just seems to be that team mates try to get the highest kill streak, not try to play and win. I have started to get bored (only on 2nd prestige) of playing online, guns arent that good, many are outpowered by 1 or 2 of the only good guns on the game, so it gets repetitive after a while. Its a really good game, but i think BC2 should be more varied, and longer lasting compared to MW2. Also BC2 is cheaper than MW2 so you could get another game aswell for the same price as MW2. I like MW2 but like i said, i think ill try BC2 and see what thats like instead for a bit.

(you could even get CoD4 instead as I think this is better than MW2 overall. You can get CoD4 pretty cheap now aswell)
