I would agree with everyone else, the Ballad of Gay Tony is much more fun and enjoyable, and is longer. However, The Lost and Damned has a better 'atmosphere', if you know what I mean. You feel for the character more in my opinion. Also the graphics on TLAD are a bit messed up, they are a bit fuzzy compared to GTA IV and TBOGT. I suppose it depends what your into, TLAD is a gangster biker game, whereas TBOGT is more fun, like GTA used to be. Overall I would say TBOGT, but dont write off TLAD as i enjoyed this almost as much.

I have the same problem, but not during gameplay just during loading or when I turn the console on. Or maybe its just coincidence that it has never happened when Im playing.

u have to vacuum out all the vents to get all the dust out, also keep it far away from walls or anything like that, 6 inches of space on all sides. but vacuuming helps alot

jetslalom

Yeah the bit about lots of space around it will stop over heating, but DO NOT VACUUM THE PS3!!!! It will mess up some of the components at the back of the system. Honestly do not vacuum it. Also I dont know what the problem is with the pixels, I, like you, got the Slim the day it came out, but have had no problems. Sometimes it feels a bit hot to touch and when I use it theres this wierd clicking/moving sound from inside, and when its cooling down it does the same thing, no problems with it though.

So you like SOCOM on PS2, then buy SOCOM on PS3, ive not played it but if you likeit get it. I would recommend (in no particular order) :-

- Killzone 2
- CoD MW2 and MW, try to get these two before WaW, in my opinionthey're better
- Assassins Creed 2, better than AC1
- GTA IV, if you like them games then its great
- Motorstorm Pacific Rift is good fun aswell
- Resistance 2 is ok, not the best but you may like it (I prefer Killzone 2)
- FIFA > PES
- I dont like RPG's, so I cant help you with that
- Dead Space and stuff have demos on PS Store, try them first

Overall try demos of game you might get, I find it helps me decide if I like them or not, but these games above are great. I either own them myself or have played/ been recommended by friends

Ive played through both. I loved MW2 campaign. Short but fenominal. What I hate about MW2 multiplayer is the match and rank system. You should have an option to play against simmilarly ranked players. It sucks when you first start, you dont know the maps and it throws you in a room with a bunch of high ranked players and they wipe the floor with you. Its compleat BS for all. The high ranked guys undeservidly boost their rank by eating up newbes and the newbs dont have a chance.

KillZone2 has the best multiplayer experience.

CommanderASH

Yeah, i know what you mean. In CoD WaW there was that boot camp thing which helped for about 5 matches, then you were thrown in with everyone from tenth presige and stuff. If this was in MW2 it may help, but youll still have no chance against others when the boot camp option ends. I have only played a bit of KZ2, with my mate, but may invest as alot of people say it is a stronger game overall.

MAG Beta is now available. But it is only 37mb i think, then it needs another 37mb update, then a massive 1000+ mb update, its insane!!! :@

[QUOTE="primetime08865"]hey guys i was wonder what are some of the top ranking games of this year and should i get the for ps3 ? heris a short list of what i a ready have. GTA IV, MGS4, uncharted 2, assassin's creed 2, borderland, god of war colect and demon's souls, what games should i add that are top rated?shadow13702
MW2 is a must :D I just got Devil may Cry and its really fun to play. Cost only $30

Yeah, I wouldnt say MW2 is a must, as some people arent as keen. I personally love it. If you like action games, which it would appear you do, then I would recommend MW2. Also Motorstorm games are great fun. 'Other top rated games'??? How about:
CoD 4 (5 is good but MW and MW2 are better)
Killzone/Resistance (both good)
Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box
AC, youve already got AC2, try AC for more story etc. if you like it
Uncharted: DF, like AC you have got 2, so try the original

I would probably say:

GTA IV
Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box
Racedriver GRID
Far Cry 2
Killzone 2

GeneralHawx

Killzone 2 is $20? WHERE?! OMG TELL ME lol

Well its less than £20, not $20, sorry. Its only about £10-£15 in the UK at the moment. You might findit for $20 somewhere, but i dont know about America, sorry.:(

[QUOTE="full_on_gamer"]

Call of Duty World at War or the Saboteur?

I want a WWII game, but have not been able to decide which is best. I have both CoD MW and CoD MW2, and like them, but never got WAW, should I egt that, or try the Saboteur. From watching the Saboteur review, it looks like the graphics and gameplay are quite poor. Which is best, and which should I get

PS. Is it worth renting The Saboteur first?

amsfm6

Anyone?

You really can't compare those two games at all, they are completely different. They just happen to be set in the same time period.

WaW is a realistic (as far as COD goes) FPS, like MW only during WWII. The Saboteur is a ridiculous, over the top open-world game where you blow alot of stuff up to help liberate France ( FYI, a drunk Irish racecar driver didn't liberate France in real life. :P )

WaW is good but not as good as MW or MW2. The saboteur is a very fun game, but very rough around the edges.

Ok, cheers :P
