My impressions on the beta:

Pros:

Solid and smooth frame rate.

Cinematics are absolutely gorgeous.

UI is top notch.

Game feels very polished.

Good animations.

Cons:

Graphics. Even on the highest settings, textures, lighting and shadows look quite bland compared to other MMOs like Rift, AOC and EQ2.

Character models anvironments lack detail and depth. I felt like I am in toy story world interacting with plastic toy models. Environment felt very limited, flat and plasticy.

Combat gets repetitive and bland after a while.

I'll wait and see how the final game turns out. So far, I am not impressed.

Fail Thread. Why don't you post worldwide numbers instead of US only. Next time some one should make a thread posting Japan numbers and see who is the king.

Cows still upset UC3 couldn't come close to outselling Gears 3? :(

No we are just happy it is selling great. Only one upset are the unsecured lems damage controlling the UC3 sales. :P

It's funny how quickly cows went into overdrive with the gloating. In typical fashion, it blows up in their faces. SHIPPED..not sold - who cares how many units have been shipped? Lets see how fast UC3 gets a price cut to get rid of all those copies.

yeah because only PS3 exclusive games get sold and shipped to retailers whereas 360 exclusive games get magically teleported to retailers.

Me and my brother own a retail business and we deal with inventory on daily basis. Shipped and SOLD are the same thing. Manufacturers don't ship the products unless they are ordered and then shipped (SOLD) to the retailers like Gamestop, Amazon etc. You need to do some research and see how inventory management works, and how other companies like M$ and Nintendo post their numbers as well. Do some research online on inventory management or take some class.

Anyonone else notice that dark souls looks a little more washed out then Demon souls? I think the game was compressed a bit.
