Typical PR lines from Insomniac. Answer me this, what is the purpose of a demo? Why would Insomniac build and release a demo that paints their game in such a bad light?

It's a demo. The purpose is to get people to play the game before release :|
Your acting like demos always show the best version of a game when they don't. Just look at the GOW3 demo and try to tell me it looks the same as the released version.
Difference was, GoWIII still looked great. R3 on the other hand looks abysmal based on these screens. Bad move from Insomniac / Sony.
Except Resistance 3 looks as good as Gears if not better judging from screens and trailers:) BTW textures looks very blurry wearing fanboy goggles:)
I think it looks fine after seeing the trailers, gamplay videos and screenshots. Those images, even if they are the worst possible images one could find, still look good overall:)
I don't understand why are all the hermits getting so upset...the PC is not light years ahead of the PS3 as the delusional hermits want you to believe. Aside from increased resolution, AA/AF, you are getting the exact same consolized to PC ports.

John Carmack talking about it.. and a bunch of other stuff, 20m interview. (the power of the pc isn't the primary focus of the interview.)
In above E3 interview he said PC has its own flaws where they have to rely on device driver API layer that slows things down. Thats why they have trouble running rage at 60 FPS on PC despite having more powerfull hardware. I guess PC being light years ahead means nothing unless you can make games look and perform better :P
I agree with mostly but IMO demon souls is not just one of the best game of this gen but one of the best of all time. Its combat system alone puts all other RPGs to shame.
