No other reason to mention a totally unrelated case like they do. For one this guy did not profit from their IP. For another posting it would not be what he did wrong, Obtaining it was. And who knows if it was him or the retailer at fault. I remember Wal Mart selling quite a few games earlier than they were supposed to.

Empire is to star wars like D2 is to diablo. There is no denying which is FIRST and best do not care what your opinion is.

Theatres going through the same disappearing act that Drive ins did back in the day. Back in the 80s and 90s there was a HUGE difference between theater quality and home quality. Now it is almost reverse. Quality of picture and sound typically better at home.

Good game that has no game to play. Not sure which is a worse a 40 hour game you just can not wait to be over. Or a 15 hour game you wish you could play for 40 or more.

Remakes fine. Not really that many out there. But the definition between remake and remaster needs to be addressed. RE games, D2, etc are remasters same game with upgrades and minor changes. Games like Doom, FF7 and such are Remakes totally new games based on the OG.

Kind of bugs me when games use the term "multiplayer" in a game like Far cry and the like. When they are clearly just couch coop online. If both players do not progress in the game it is NOT multiplayer.

And if a game is the same game with a new dodge mechanic and better graphics it is NOT a remake.

@Slannmage: Corporations have much better intentions than the Government. Can not really put all the blame here on them. Corporations only get away with things like Microsoft does at the mercy of the politicians they are paying off.

I have no doubt this play by the CMA is either UK politicians trying to get their cut. Or they already have and actually blocked this because they were paid by Sony in Retaliation for Microsoft doing the same thing to them over the Bungie buyout.

Actually true. Cloud gaming is horrible. Like VR tech just not there yet.

But Microsoft just annoyed. They know there is no case here against their power. This just some small fish looking for a payout.

CMA knows they can not stop Microsoft either but they know they can get a pay day by blocking them too.
