You can tell when someone has not suffered a real tragedy or traumatic experience to cause mental anguish when they talking about a bit of work stress causing mental problems. These snowflakes ever had a real tragedy or traumatic experience they would realize how childish their whining was.

The only thing that has ever kept idiots out of games is a hard grind like EQ or FFXI and forced grouping. Modern accessible easy mode random grouping multiplayer games are 99.999 percent idiots.

Producers are like executives their only real job is to steal all the money from the people actually working for it. 20 million sounds like a lot but not if the producers made 200 million.

And yeah the gap is larger in the US because there is ALOT more money. But our poor are not as poor as most countries.

And that same pay for the same job is another distraction. In the real world women paid as well if not better then men. It is that world where the people have never worked a day in their life yet have most the money where women are not treated with equal pay. And you better do your homework on women even in this category. We double the percentage of women CEOS as the UK and there is a major wealth gap between the women and men there too.

You know why there is so much more diversity in the US? Because we give minorities a lot more opportunity then the rest of the world.

@bloodbornelore: Lol the US inequality? Name a country that is more diverse. What does Europe have like 10 to 15 percent minorities? US has near 40 percent. Pretty easy to get away with suppressing minorities when they have very little voice.

Pretty sure the US had black congressman long(like 100 years) before England had black parliamentarians. Where is the black PM? How many black leaders are there in the entirety of Europe or Asia? Also pretty sure there was plenty of inequality going on in South Africa and those white Europeans were the minority.

Just because all you see is tornados hitting trailer parks on the news does not mean thats the only place that tornados hit. US has more opportunity for its minorities then any country in the world.

Quit listening to the media and learn some history if you going to talk smack on the US(and there is plenty of real things to talk smack about).

@keiser69: as I posted above popularity does not = quality. CoD is mass produced garbage might as well be Madden with guns. GTA has not been good since San Andreas. Fortnite is kiddy garbage that even if it had any play value to play it you would have to be afraid Chris Hansen would bust you for hanging out with the small children.

And we not talking about AAA games vs indies. We are talking when a smaller company like BGS gets bought out by a giant like Microsoft. Never in the history of gaming has a big company took over a franchise and it got better. BGS was already considered AAA(not so much in the past few years).

@leugenesmiff: Games released too early in a terrible state because it has become the norm and people do not only accept it they defend the game and the devs tooth and nail at release. Same with the lack of quality and I myself am guilty of playing their garbage when i shouldnt.

And you are right a small developer does have more pressure because that 1 game is their only option and they are highly motivated for it to succeed. Microsoft has no skin in the game because as you said they are going to be good whether the game succeeds or not.

But all that aside name a gaming franchise that sold out to a large company that got better. Did Blizzard get better with activision? Did Square get better with Enix? We talking quality here not longevity or popularity.

Mcdonalds more popular and more profitable then any burger restaurant in the world you think them taking over a small franchise going to improve the quality of the burgers? You think that taking away competition from the gaming industry is a good thing?

And you want to know the entire problem with the gaming industry for real? There is too much business sense not enough art and entertainment which is what gaming is.
