@itchyflop: Watch a ton of TV. And I do not watch marvel movies for the story but for the action because the story is horrible. Same with games i play them for the gameplay first and foremost and the story is a very minor factor for immersion.

Take mass effect for example. Had to watch the story because the game only lasted 2 or 3 hours without it(would of skipped cutscenes if i could). Unlike a good story i could not name a single character from that story. And books that i read 40 years ago i could name quite a few characters if not all of them.

Story driven games are fine but a game like Days Gone tries to get by on story alone. The gameplay is horrible. Even games like Red dead redemption 2 are horrible to me because the gunplay is so generic it would not matter how much story it had.

@santinegrete: Final fantasy yeah somewhat. More about the back drop of the story though not the actual story line. But of the other games you mention the only one i played was last of us. And i only played it for about 30 minutes till I realized it was a pure story driven game that had crap gameplay.

Boring game do not watch stories in games but the gameplay itself was horrible. You people that enjoy a "good" story in a game should read a book. Even your mass produced garbage paperbacks are 100 times better then any video game story ever told.

Lol farcry multiplayer always been a joke. Only the host progresses. Lag is terrible. Farcry should just leave the multiplayer out unless they decide to put some effort into it.

Is this movie animated? And if not is there a reason they are using actors/actresses who are nothing like the characters depicted in the game? I mean grandma aged women(older then that since they all older then me) to play the young women from the game? Ellie played by a woman small enough ellie could eat her. Smallest guy they can find to play Roland? I mean whats next Peter Dinklage as Brick?

I mean i know it is supposed to be live action but the choice for actors confuses me.

Seen nothing in the demo to make me buy the game. Pretty much RE7 without VR. Also making it take 12 headshots to kill a trash mob does not = difficulty. How about the mobs move faster/smarter and get rid of some of the spongey bs.

@gamer112696: Is a matter of perspective too. Pretty sure your perspective be much different in CoD, Fortnite, Apex and such then mine. Also playstation tends to be older then xbox average player. And pc older then both.

But do not think I have ever seen a middle aged man playing fruit ninja or angry birds. And if they did you would never know it because they would hide that better then their porn search history.

@gamer112696: lol did you just call middle aged men casual angry birds players? Middle aged men are the hardcore players. Younger players have never even seen a "hardcore" game.

And if a younger player did happen upon a hardcore game they did not play it they jumped on the forums or twitter to get it nerfed or dumbed down so they could play it.

Might as well discord about useless. Reminds me in a MMO when they let making a guild be cheap and easy you end up having 20000 guilds that are all crap because of the too many chiefs not enough indians problem. Big business will screw everyone and take their money but at least there will not be 500 discord channels for a game that has 300 players.
