[QUOTE="Ra-Devil"] If the Xbox Live Account was created on an Xbox 360 or migrated over to the Xbox 360, it cannot be used on the Original Xbox. Your Xbox Live Gold Account can be used on multiple consoles, yes, but it is not reverse compatable.
Try the Xbox website next time. It's actually very helpful.

I actually have consulted the xbox site and didn't see anything about migration from the 360 to the original Xbox. Xbox.com only discusses one path, migration from original Xbox to 360. If you have a source via official MS site, I would appreciate it if you point me to it.

Actually, sorry to tell you this but you would be wrong. I play xbox live on my 360 and my original xbox on the same screen name. I just can't play online with both systems at the same time of course. I played halo 2 just the other day on my original xbox online with my screen name I migrated over to 360. The xbox website might be helpful, but actually doing it is a whole different story :)
Just to confirm, you migrated from original Xbox to 360 and not the other way around. Correct?
I'm looking for migrating (if you wanna call it that, but sure as hell not abandoning my 360) from my 360 (the account was started on the 360) and to my original Xbox. I do not want emulation and use backwards compatibility on my 360 when I have an original Xbox.
Yes I migrated from original xbox to 360. I'm sorry i dont know if you can go back the other way. I'm not sure why you couldn't, but who knows
