[QUOTE="rastaman219"]It's ok people he passes, he's got Shenmue IIzh666

He doesn't have the dreamcast version,so no he doesn't:P

the non-english downgraded version that doesn't include a bonus dvd? i'm sure he's crying on the inside

I have the English european version. So yes there is an English version, and I use to own the the xbox version as well till I sold it. Both versions were exactly the same. So for you to say downgraded version makes no sense. Plus that "bonus" DVD you get is a joke. All it is are all the FMV from the two games shown one after the other. Both versions of the game are good though. One isn't better then the other. The fact he got it in his collection is a plus no matter what version

I would have to say Atari 2600 for sure. But not to go off topic to much how about some forgotten handheld systems like Atari Lynx or the Turbo Graphix express :)

Stretch Panic. Or that platformer by Treasure that wasn't Wario World.

Alien Hominid, which at this point should be so cheap I would recommend it to anyone who likes 2D shooters.

Can I still say Psychonauts? I shouldn't have to, because anyone who read the forums should have heard the hype.

SirSpudly

I opened this thread to mention that game. I had no idea that some one would beat me to it :) That game was so weird but very fun. There are a couple shooters that were awesome but nobody heard and/or played them. Those are Sky Gunner, Silpheed: The lost planet, and R-Type Final

[QUOTE="gallienb"][QUOTE="_AbBaNdOn"]

Let me just skip to my end point.

Why do these #$%^$&$&%^&$%* - #$%%^% keep saying Japanese RPG??

Until recently 99.9% of video games came from japan!!!! There were some american developers but american made games only represent a tiny tiny tiny insignificant amount of all the games that have been released in the world. And only a fraction of those have been RPGs.

So we have 5 bazillion japanese RPG games on one hand and like 10 american made ones on the right and we are going to call all the japanese ones JRPG to denote that they are different than the 10 american made ones??? Thats is extremely idiotic and stupid. IF ANYTHING you should denote the ones made by america or some other country like korea!!!!!

An analogy would be a jar filled with 1 billion green M&M's and one blue one and you say:

"Hey can anyone recommend me one of those green M&M's? How do they taste compared to the normal ones?"

_AbBaNdOn

I don't want to sound mean, but you must be pretty young. Either that or you dont know much about RPGs or you didn't play many growing up. Americans have been making video games for a pretty dang long time. Americans have been making RPGs for as long as video games been around in the world. I remember playing American made RPGs for older consoles such as Atari, NES, and older PCs. You do realize that the founder of Dungeon's and Dragons was an American right? Plus people compare the 2 because japanese and american RPG are 2 totaly different styles of games usually. Hence why people have made up the term JRPG. And to say there is only 10 american made RPGs in the world is crazy. I played about 15 different ones at least before I turned 13 years old, i'm 27 now. I'm not trying to hate on you just trying to educate. c ya :)

Nice Examples!!!

Do you seriously want me to list hundreds of games for you? This is the information age you know. Plus you are sitting right infront of a computer. Your a big boy you can look them up I have faith in you. Here is a hint to get you started look up a long running game series called Ultima. That game series has been running since 1980, and is american made. Plus that series alone has more then 10 games in it. Plus if you need and more help for me to further prove how wrong you are just let me know :) But if you are that lazy to do some searching. I can go through my collection and do search on the internet for you. All I was trying to do was educate you that RPGs have been made in this country for a long time. I didn't think had to hand feed you information. Plus I was trying to be nice didn't expect the attitude back from you.

yeah both systems had amazong fighting games. Dreamcast tops it slightly. Tech Romancer, Fatal Fury: Mark of the wolves, Last Blade 2, King of fighters games, among all the other fantastic one that have been mentioned already. PSX had great fighters not mention on here yet either like the Darkstalkers series. But out of the Playstation systems PS2 has more and better fighters, and there still coming out. Like King of Fighters XII and Neo Geo Battle Colisium among others. If you own all 3 systems like me you are in fighting game heaven :)

Go play with your dolls, come back when you're old enough to stay out past curfew.

PS Hope I see you on Rainbow 6, I will make a conscious effort to blast you.

ILLETE 702

Matt2556

Ummm. if parents give their kids a curfew it doesnt matter how old they are, they still have to be in at that time, so you make no sense.

And btw, never say "Blast you", that makes you look younger than you are... which is what? 4?

Not to go off subject any more then it already is, but parents arnt the only people that give out cufews. Where I live in Ohio if you under the age of 18 and out past 11pm and some times 12am depends the county you can be picked up by the police. I'm pretty sure Ohio isn't the only government that does this. Plus who cares what the guy said about the game. If he wants to say ill let the man say ill. I'm sure there are several people on here that say things that most people would think are strange. Just lighten up this is just a forum, and a post about RSv2. Not a post about what words are strange.

A lot of the games that have been mentioned are awesome. One game that was great that hasn't been mentioned would have to be Astro Boy. If you like the Gunstar heroes game for GBA you would love Astro boy. Both games are from Treasure
