Civilization Revolution is the strategy game we have been waiting for on consoles. Once you get acquainted to it, its very managable yet still difficult. Going against higher difficulties, you really got to work at it and it really got me sweating at times (Abe Lincoln bombed me with a nuclear weapon.) And playing with/against friends is a blast. So who here has played it and shares my joy?

Honestly, I downloaded the demo and really wasn't a fan of it. Too complex in my opinion.

And that version is dumbed down heavily from the PC counter-part. How does that make you feel?

And you obviously have nothing better to do then go off topic and crack on of some one on a videogame message board. How does that make you feel? :) lol

[QUOTE="MajorSport"]First time I've agreed with Adam Sessler in a long time...BigDaddyChacon

Me too. Normally I cannot stand Adam Sessler, but I completely agree with him. That's the main reason why I don't play multi-player games on XBL other than Uno.

Yeah with that game you dont have to worry so much about the bad language. You just got to worry about the full frontal male nudity from the cams lol

Well if you want an original NBA jam game you might have to get one for the first playstation or get a genesis or SNES. If you want a game that is simialr to an NBA jam I would suggest the NBA Street series on the PS2

Get Jet Grind Radio, whatever you do. Dreamcasts aren't region locked so you could even get an import. But the bottom line, you need to play Jet Grind Radio.kayn83

Actually thats not true. If that was the case the imports I own I wouldn't have to use my gameshark CDX to play them. Jet Grind Radio is an awesome game for sure though.

If you can buy the system in like a package deal(with games, controllers, etc) on like ebay or something then it might be worth it. I bought mine several years ago. I bought My saturn with like 30 games and a tons of accessories for like $150. I only maybe bought 2-5 games since the initial purchase of the system. So a lot of the better games are hard to find. One of those 2-5 games I bought was Shining Force III for like $15 :) Thats what I talk about a steal.

I have the English european version. So yes there is an English version, and I use to own the the xbox version as well till I sold it. Both versions were exactly the same. So for you to say downgraded version makes no sense. Plus that "bonus" DVD you get is a joke. All it is are all the FMV from the two games shown one after the other. Both versions of the game are good though. One isn't better then the other. The fact he got it in his collection is a plus no matter what version

Xbox > Dreamcast

You do realise that the author of the article you linked is just a regular user named CVXFREAK don't you? His opinion does not = fact, nor does mine for that matter.

I own both and have beaten both numerous times and I think the Dreamcast version is superior.

First off it's the original version so the Xbox version is a port of the Dreamcast game. The timed button presses are much more responsive on the Dreamcast.

Second of all the Japanese voices sound more genuine imo and give you more of a sense of immersion. The vmu unit on the Dreamcast controller also gives you the button combos on the vmu screen.

It all comes down to personal opinion and also the Xbox version is still very nice, but not better imo.

Exatly what I was thinking. It was just you showing me some random guy off the net that shares your opinion. The whole point of this thread though was about his "collection". To be more on topic about which version is better. The dreamcast version would be hands down better. If you think about it , the dreamcast one is more rare by a land slide and is more collectable. Hence, that version would make his collection better :)

Plus forgot to add you do over all have a very good old school collection. The fact you have as many gamecube games as you do is great. Your collection over all isn't the biggest I seen but the quality for the most part is there. I should post my collection some time maybe. I have around 70 or 80 just ps2 games lol Oh well but mad props or what ever the kids say these days :)
