I'm sorry to say, but Heavenly Sword will not be coming out in august. According to Ninja Theory the game will be coming out in the fall. I'll post a link as soon as I find the source where i heard it from previously.
Just created a Japan account and started downloading Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Though I don't know how to read anything on the store. I rely on the pictures :)

I guess so, since I'm residing in the east coast as well.
For some reason the current games on the PlayStation Store will only be transferred onto the PSP. But whatever PSONE game that arrives from here on out will be playable on the PS3. Sony is currently trying to fix the problem on the current ones, so eventually they'll be playable on the PS3 as well.

That and costs would be too high for doing it on a system for such a small install base(no profits) plus it's easier to make the game for 360 and then port it over.
According to Factor 5 (the development team behind Lair), it is easier to port from the PS3 onto the 360.
