Alan Wake should be out soon I believe

The only time I've ever had subtitles get in teh way of a movie was when I tried to watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon on IFC. The text was yellow with no border and blended into the background. Had to pause it several times just to read it correctly until I gave up.

Half Life 2 deserves it.

Exclusives are still important to console sales. It is because of exclusives that I still want a PS3 and Wii. They each have several games that I want to play, but can't because they aren't on 360 or PC.

I will definately agree that I wish I could split up my characters to ambush the enemies.

It's not like these people are accidently exploding do to bad coding. They are purposefully exploiting a glitch in the game that obviously was not intended to be part of the game. It is cheating, and the Live terms of service allows MS to take whatever action they choose to against the glitchers account.
