i don't know of a list but my local BB had one. The demo unit was barely 3 feet of the ground, if that, so dont count on a fun or comfortable playing experience. Standing made it so i could not get a good angle for 3D because the unit is locked in place. It seems like BB set up these demo units for the kids who aren't suppposed to use the 3D anyways. Be sure to look up the demo unit hack before you go in so that you can check out the home menu.
Ugh, so I shouldnt pick this up at launch? Any titles worth picking up (considering Im not really a fighting fan)mattg90520I'm still holding out. If you look at the cons of both reviews you will see that their greatest real concern that isn't entirely subjective is frame rate issues. We have all known for some time that games in 3d will take a framerate hit. I am still waiting for a more thorough review from a site I have greater familiarity with before I make a final decision.
After some poking around I was able to find these two reivews

In Short: A reasonable effort has been expended on this port of the semi-(GameSpot filtered this word which is the first 3 lettrs of clam and the last 4 letters of Jurassic) platformer, but it's clear the original has passed its sell-by date.
Pros: The original was highly ambitious for the time and packs in a fair amount of variety and unusual artistic flair. New controls and camera are a definite improvement.
Cons: Despite the refinements the graphics are still very low tech and the whole game design feels equally old-fashioned and restrictive.
Score:5/10

You'll love
- Outstanding level design rewards exploration
- 3D effect makes it feel new again
- Memorable music and characters
You'll hate
- It's virtually a straight port - only 3D added
- Framerate lapses are inexcusable in a game this old
- It's got Rayman in it. Do you like Rayman?
Score: 7 (Good)
Is the 3D used effectively?
What are the games strengths?
Could you identify any shortcommings?
Are there any obvious glitches, graphical or gameplay related?
Are concerns over Ubisoft's lack of media coverage warranted (are they hiding the game for any negative reason)?
[QUOTE="ganjalo"]huh? Charge it all the way before turning it on for the first time, but I can play with it while it is charging?dzimm
I'm not sure in what way I was unclear. The general rule is to fully charge new electronics before using them for the first time. However, since the 3DS can be powered up while the battery charges, there's no reason why you couldn't plug in to charge and then turn it on and check out your games.
I think I was confused by "charge it fully before turning it on" which to me implies that I should wait for the charging indicator to turn off before booting the system. What i think your are saying now is: I can play it during its initial charge, but I should not unplug from the cradle and play until the unit has received a full charge. and to Rod90: I do plan to read the manual, but I didn't see the harm in speculating, or just possibly getting an answer from somebody lucky enough to already have a manual (and a 3DS).I think it comes down to DQIX and C: DoS. I am a life long FF fan but... that is just the way i feel right now. as for deciding between DQIX and C: DoS, i think that is up to you, they are very different games so it depends on the way that you feel right now.
I just read on Kotaku that TRU is having a buy one get one half off sale from release to April 4th.... what to do? My 3ds is preordered at Gamestop, i also have SSFIV3D on preorder there.
I was only going to get the one game at launch (failing a glowing review of Rayman 3D coming out between now and then), but the TRU deal has me thinking twice. Gamestop opens at 9 and TRU opens at 10 if it makes any difference. Maybe i should pick up the 3DS at gamestop and drive home to plug it in, then drive to TRU to pick up the games? what would/will you do?
