@rawkstar007 not a bad call and I felt I purchased mine because of the all the hype. That said, I know I will own both anyway as I did last gen so I would say you only live once and that part of the enjoyment is the hype and excitement so don't fight the urge.
To explain, you have two consolespretty much on par with each other (except price - I think this is the biggest difference) and what Jess is saying is that you can have one with all this "all in one" media functionality or the other without it. On that basis, and all other things being equal, which would you go for?
In my mind, (and hey I own both new consoles but could be considered a Playstation fanboy) you would only go for the PS4, if the other compromised on the gaming experience. To my mind there is no evidence of this just yet with all multi plats pretty much performing the same (please do not give me this native 1080p argument - its a load of bollocks and we know developers will optimise for future games).
So in summary, just go with whatever your gut tells you or where your friends will be, because at this stage we are splitting hairs!
I think on Gamespot a 7 is an 8-8.5 everywhere else so yes defo a good game. I think actually gamespot score properly as 10's, 9's or even 8's so should not be handed out so generously.
