@vannacut @clementchai NCSoft shut down City of Heroes after 8 years because a huge expansion and going free to play didn't bring in new players to beef up it's low subscriber numbers.
@K-A_L-A_D-U_R @GamespotAudio @Bumblebee1138 Those articles are about unsolicited feedback. Comments sections and message boards on the Internet ATTRACT complainers, so you have adverse selection and you can't consider them representative of real world opinion. Also, people who are happy with a product or service are orders magnitude less likely to say anything than unhappy customers.
Look for MS to come out with their own social media service, as usual a few years to late and a few dollars too short. But it will be built into Windows and IE/Windows will make Facebook and Twitter crash and run poorly. Then they'll be in anti-trust litigation with Facebook and Twitter for years. In the end, I'm sure it will be as popular as Bing, Zune and Windows Phone.
@skittzo_s @jhonMalcovich Strategy games were a major genre on PC's and now they're almost a niche, with exceptions like Total War, Civ. and Starcraft. Wargames are truly a niche. It's a shame, really. Kids these days, I tell you, all they want to do is shut off their brain and shoot things.
@rukshan47 I have to believe you didn't actually read the review because he absolutely did not do what you said. He rated the game on it's own merits and rated it poorly because of the things summed up in "The Bad" - "Loads of bad, overlong quick-time events Excruciating overemphasis on mediocre set piece events Ruins the pace by constantly ripping control from you Poorly executed scripted events lead to unavoidable deaths." He specifically said it could have been a good atmospheric shooter, but it was undone by the bad gameplay decisions.
Many of the commenters here are saying the game is bad because it's not RE1 - 3, but not Mr. VanOrd.
