To the point, you can't reduce an opinion on something as complex as a game to a list of pro and con bullet points. It can have no obvious, glaring defects and yet not be, in the reviewer's opinion, a perfect game.
So everyone who was so deeply offended by the RE6 review is out to "prove" Gamespot is a bad by commenting in this and other reviews; all saying the same thing (e.g. "what... No bad points???"). Where do you people get your marching orders?
@U-bv Disagreeing with you and calling you out for lack of objectivity and inaccuracy is not "trolling". Look it up. I'm not anyone's fanboy and you're the first person who has ever accused me of it. You should also stick to commenting on the substance of what people say and quit the ad-hominems. It just further reduces your credibility.
According to MetaCritic RE5 was rated 8.3 - 8.6, so GS is right there. Where did you get your numbers? (http://www.metacritic.com/search/all/resident+evil+5/results)
Maybe Fergal is trying to force the issue. Or better yet Sony told him to say this so they can do an "emergency pre-Holiday price cut" to make up the "gaffe" to consumers.
Whatever happens, since I already own a Vita, I want free games like Nintendo gave out when they cut the 3DS price.
@jcwainc And half the comments there are that the score was too high and they must have been paid off. Opinions are like a$$holes. Opinions in comments sections are like the substance that comes out of them.
@U-bv "Gamespot is in Microsofts back pocket. They will never rate anything other than an MS game higher than a 9." Ten seconds of research shows what a pantload this claim is and why no one should listen to you.
@nyran125 @NTM23 Why do you need to read a review if you've already played the game? What do you think the purpose of a review is? Personally I'm not dropping $60 on a game just to see if I like it. I look at a mix of review sites and reviewers I trust, and this is one of them.
