@Pelezinho777: From what i read around the net you need a really low end PC to see any real benefit to this 'gaming mode'. Tried it myself and saw nothing different in my frames.
Jeez these two need to stop acting like the murican government and compromise already. The only ones this cross-play debacle hurts are the ones who just wanna play the game, ya know those pesky paying customers. Compromise is not always a dirty word and the gaming industry and the world in general would be better off if it used it more.
@gameplayuk: They are going back to the post PS2 mind set that got them into trouble with the the PS3. Except this time instead of over charging for everything they are thumbing their nose at everybody.
Its a race to 30% and the Guillemots are in Vivendi's rearview mirror. Just a matter of time really but maybe a Christmas miracle will happen for the Guillemots.
"Allow[s] third-parties to defeat security features of its software and modify that software in violation Take-Two's rights."
Whatever Take-Two this software has been around for awhile, if OpenIV was really doing what you say then you would have raised a stink much earlier. I mean is it just coincidence that OpevVI gets shut down only a few weeks after a some TT exec says their recent BILLION dollar game was not monetizing enough on a per user basis. No this for me pretty much confirms micro-transactions in the new Red Dead single player probably weapons and cosmetics.
I don't really think that's an innovation in multiplayer, that said i do realize it is kinda difficult to innovate in genre as tired as FPS so at least you are trying sledgehammer.
I would have been surprised if it was, I doubt the PS4 is being sold at a profit as well but there is a possibility that the switch is sold at a profit.
Its not THAT bad i mean $50 season passes are already a thing so Ubi is being nice and giving a little discount. Wait till one of the 3 from the unholy trinity release a $60 pass then you will have something to complain about.
