This may seem extreme, but do you constantfear death and cant enjoy life? because sooner or later you are going to die, so why not just enjoy it.

Do you fear driving your car? because sooner or later some silly part ofthe car WILL break down, thrust me. But thatshouldn't keep you away from driving wheter it's because you enjoy driving or not.

Most of the xbox 360 players enjoy playing their games, if not, they'd already be playing on the PS3 console, and if you'd made a little research about the xbox you'd also be knowing that there's been made a newversion called Falcon, which should improve the xbox so that it wont break down.

If my fact about the falcon version isn'tall thruego correct me, wouldn't care.

And before you start flaming me, i didnt write this to start a new xbox vs ps3 war, i dont own an xbox 360 nor a ps3 so please dont call mea fanboy. lol..

I'll have to agree. Microsoft fears the a broken 360 much more the the end user. Why? cause they lose money because of it. RROD is nothing to fear, because this gives you an excuse to get the 3 year warranty. I see no fear in the users end. Just a huge bucketload of money loss for microsoft.

For the record. I don't think any electronical device is flawless. The Playstation either. I went through 2 Playstation 2's. I got RROD with my 360, 16 months after I bought it. Got a replacement free of charge, no questions asked. Can't say the same for my 'read disk error' PS2s though. If you want satisfaction of your purchase long term, I suggest you read the systems warranty plan carefully, especially the small print. That's much more important IMO.

And yes, my PS3 is working fine so far with no issues, expect a few firmware hiccups. ^_^

Uncharted looks awesome...

But I noticed that the topic is regading graphics. And most people give credit to the cell which is further from the truth. The PS3's GPU is the powerhouse responsible for the graphics. And aa a previous poster did mention, that the capabilities of PS3/360 are almost to the limit. I won't agree 100%, but we are definitely close. Graphics wise of course (Polygon count, resolution, draw in, AA, frame rate, etc...).

But it was mentioned that the cell has not been used to the fullest. Cell's main forte is calculation (floating points especially) and the fact that the SPE's (7 of the cores) proves to be great dedicated DSP modules. So look forward for maybe better sound, physics, videos, streaming, animation and AI. Don't expect drastic improvements in terms of graphics. If you love the cell (as I do) why don't you spend time to really understand it.

Back on topic. I think COD4 has awesome graphics and Uncharted looks to be a beautiful game as well. COD4 = real, Uncharted = beatiful IMO. I myself enjoy tomb raider like games. I just hope this game sells well. I notice a trend recently on how people rave about how awesome an exclusive game is on the PS3, but not supporting it in terms of sales once the hype dies out.

Like it was mentioned clearly before. Your PS3 is only the receiver. No horsepower of the PS3 is used at all. The whole game is run on the PC. Graphics on the PC will be identical to the one you see on your PS3.

IMO, the graphics will be definitely toned done. Some form of compression/decompression must be used to make lagless streaming possible. And at HD I think there will be loss in quality, audio as well.

halo has way better controls, maps, and items. gears doesnt take nearly as much skill as halo. halo as a wider variety and combinations of battle tatics, items to use, and moves to use. gears is very annoying and bad to play. gears is not well planned and does have anything extrordinary good about it. the weapons are bad, the reload thing is stupid, the a to take cover and run is annoying. in halo 3 so many factors go into playing, as where gears there may be some but nearly enough as halo. in halo al,most everything you and your opponent does effects the outcome of a battle. it takes skill weild some guns in halo. i think that halo is a perfectly balanced weapon damge ratio. all weapons even out in the end. the are way more varieties of games to play in halo. the campaign is much butter. the HUD is a ton better. graphics are btter than gears. controls are expertly designed and chose and easy. the online play is WAY better. the maps are soooo much better in the fact that they are so well designed, whether is weapon placement, barrier place, or where everything is the maps are so well planned.

Lets start with this. gears takes less skill? That must explain why i got my MVP achievment in halo 3the 2nd game i ever played in my life, and it took me months and months of practice to get me dont hate the player achievment in gears.

then you go on to bash the active reload, the weapons, the damage from the weapons so on and so forth. active reloads add a whole new level of depth to the genre running out of ammo in a clipwhile being chased by an enimie is on thing jamming your gun causing you to take twice as long to reload is antother. now we are on to damage ratio in halo a melee with any weaponwill talk all of your life and all of your sheild on shot will kill you. in gears a melee with certain weapons will only take half you life others will take 1/3.

and to the other guy on the bottom of page one about the stupid names for weapons. I must have forgot. rocket launcher, assualt rifle, smg, spiker ( which shoots spikes), needler ( which shoots needles), shotgun, and sniper are very original. you are right gears guns have stupid names bultok pistol ( magnum ) , gnasher ( shotgun ), boomshot ( rocket launcher ) hammerburst ( automatic ) torque bow ( exploding arrowvertical cross bow) your right.

Can't really say which is better. Halo 3 or Gears.
