i have the gaming heads knee deep in the dead statue. ill skip this one. i'd buy it if it comes with a steelbook, but its just a metal case.
but i am EXCITED FOR THIS GAME.
Doom 1 and 2 were my first video games, and i waas 4-5 years old. after school during kindergarten, i would immediately get on the computer to play until i fall asleep. that was my afternoon nap.
sometimes i would get too scared to move onto the next area, so i just roam around the area im in, exploring, and maybe playing around with the splash damage. i would get near an object, and try to see how different distances affect splash damage.
then i would sometimes rapid fire just to see the doom guy's face RAGE.
also i would Save before i enter an area filled with enemies. and reload the save to try clearing it with different weapons. first try with BFG, then try with rocket, then the plasma rifle, then the shotguns, then pistol (and die).
Thats the problem with vita reviews. Games are always compared with console games. Dont compare this to a console fps.If this was released on other handhelds, it would probably get a 9.
The vita is amazing. This game is amazing for a handheld shooter. Nothing like it so far. The multiplayer is great on the go.
Anyone here played the closed beta for Arkham Origins? The MP is pretty damn good. Bugs and glitches obviously will be ironed out in the final product; but the multiplayer is not half assed at all. Everyone in the beta was pleasantly surprised.
Now I havent tried Splinter Cell blacklist Spy vs Merc, but Arkham Origins multiplayer is a unique take on that. It is very fun and addicting. Plus its deep as well. You have to strategize, and communicate if you want to win. It is actually hard as hell to win as Batman and Robin.
