It's gonna happen regarding video games. "Content Creators" are basically stealing the work of developers and profiting from it. Can I show clips from an NFL game while analyzing it on a Youtube channel? No, my ass would have been sued immediately. Once publishers unite over a stance and how to enforce it, it's game over. Without video game footage, Angry Joe wouldn't have a channel. People are there for the games, while his persona is just an added bonus. I think he's a likable guy with some genuinely funny moments. But without showing the work of video game developers, nobody would be watching his videos. And why shouldn't developers or publishers profit from his videos? He's showing their work and making himself and Youtube money in the process.

The gaming industry is behind the ball here, but don't worry. The suits will straighten this all out eventually.

Joe doesn't care about what you play or buy. If Joe didn't make money doing this, he would be doing something else. Joe wants your clicks, subs and likes. Nothing more. Joe doesn't know you and doesn't care about you. The fact that you are so enchanted by this man is alarming.

Now he is back at it. Knowing this is a thing that happens despite most companies letting it slide because he is big enough. Thing is, this understanding where one company stops charging the other in hopes that they get free publicity, isn't a deal you are entitled to. No one owes him a free pass, yet he keeps coming back with monetized rant videos over and over like clockwork... almost as if he found a way to make money off of a situation he has no moral high ground to stand lol

-He could be creative with his nintendo reviews to bypass CC.

-He could open a non monetized channel and ask for donations.

-He could do minimum coverage and not monetize.

-He could become a "Nintendo partner".

-Or he could periodically bitch and moan that Nintendo should leave him alone as others do because he is doing "them a solid", pretending its about some mutual benefit morals when in truth he feels he shouldn't abide by the rules of paying for owned content in order to embelish his business.

Why didn't youtube help sales of titanfall 2? Everyone said it's worth playing and is way better than the first. And yet...crappy sales nonetheless. Where was joe's incredible powers then?
