1. Bad games are often obviously bad. But even then if you honestly want to play something no one will stop you. There's a part of me that STILL wants to try out devils third.

2. Okay, they're critics. That doesn't entitle them to using hours and hours of footage from a product. Again, why do you think stuckman, jahns, movie bob, and shmoes know never use movie footage? Hmm?

3. As for being saved from a bad purchase...there's tons of critics out there, beyond youtubers, I think criticism is safe as an institution. It's not going anywhere. Even after the zombie apocalypse we'll have critics reviewing the types of zombies that exist or whether or not they are worth killing or being killed by.

1. Well. I didn't know 1-2 switch was that bad. If not for Joe, I would obviously had bought it.

2. Lol.. bro. You obviously do not know the difference between movies and games. Allow me to enlighten. Movies are played on screen they're not interactive content. They don't require interaction. Games on the other hand are interactive media. There's no content until you're actually in control of a game. (Apart from that, reviewers don't use hours of footage. They only take the footage that they think is relevant to make their point. So are movie reviewers. Everyone knows about Honest Trailers by Screen Junkies, I hope.)

3. Yeah. But, not all of them are really honest. Well.. Most of them are not. IGN included. I am not an Angry Joe Fanboy. But, I really tell you, we need more critics like him.

P.S- An average consumer doesn't have unlimited money. 60 dollars is still a big deal.

And yet.. due to these nobodies like Joe. I was saved multiple times from making a bad purchase. 60 dollars may not mean much to you but it does to me. Youtubers like Angry Joe isn't there to make companies like Nintendo money (that's what IGN is for), they're critics, they are here to save us from a bad purchase.

Showing silly memes ain't gonna change the fact. Well, titanfall is standing as proof there. In PC, its practically dead now.

Yeah and one day they'll all realize they left money on the table thinking these youtube losers actually helped them sell copies of their games. These are bold moves. Xbox live as a pay service. Two free games every month. Bethesda saying F-U to early reviews and critics. Eventually the rest fall in line and I see many others that will follow in Nintendo's footsteps. It's time to stop begging these losers for "free promotion" without getting a dime out of it. They are nobodies preaching to people who don't even pay for games they'd rather watch other people play them for free.

Hmmm, but your case is concrete. I'm sure the biggest law firms will take you on for free just for the free publicity. Come on you have a WEBSITE LINK. That can't be beaten. This is david and goliath. You have the law on your side. This is irrefutable evidence that can take down Google and Nintendo combined.

Come on. You can't lose.

Well.. Who doesn't like drama?? See everything is funny when dramatized. Some people here were saying they didn't like Angry Joe because he has drama in his videos.. lol

Dude I'm behind your cause. Go get 'em. Take youtube to court as well while you're at it. Fight the man! Take down the system! You're 100% right. Show Nintendo that website in court. Print it out and slam it down onto the judges desk. Then yell out, CASE CLOSED MUTHAFUKAZ.

I told you its not my job to go court. Stop acting like a "manchild"..lol Considering the lawyer fees, youtubers too just move on.

@Thunderdrone: Except for most other forms of media there is a fair use clause.

If you do a movie review and use footage/screens from the movie as long as you are reviewing over the footage with your opinion it is deemed ok by the fair use clause. You are also providing a service to the public by reviewing said movie.

This is what GameSpot does when they review video games. They are using the same fair use clause.

Angry Joe does the same thing GameSpot does, except it's on Youtube. If Joe had the money and resources he could take Nintendo to court. That's why Nintendo grants specific people/companies to use their games for let's plays and reviews. If they didn't someone with the resources would eventually sue with the fair use defense. Like CBS probably would if Nintendo didn't let GameSpot review games or post let's plays.

Most youtube movie reviewers don't use movie clips anymore. Stuckman, Moviebob, Jahns, Schmoes know. The safest best is to use your own footage, i.e. your face.

I'm also 100% certain Nintendo would stomp Joe in court with their army of lawyers. Whatever law school drop out he could afford would never be able to match their legal expertise on all things Nintendo.

Fair use policy is a LAW bro. Here's a page from Stanford Online Library

Uh huh, go to Nintendo and teach them a thing or two. Fight the good fight bruh, I'll be here laughing at you.

Its not my job. And frankly speaking, its not Angry Joe's either. It should be Youtube (Google)'s job. Ultimately, it shows how broken Youtube's copyright policy system is.

lol.. I don't know what to say.. Its like you're saying "Lets not try to stop Hitler(nintendo) from killing innocent jews (youtube channels), he's gonna do it anyway".

Seems to me, that you're the manchild here, if you're above 18, if not well..

Harsh as it may sound. Here's a page on youtube copyright strikes. Click on What happens to your account when you get a copyright strike?

He knows their policy.

He knows the deal.

Does it anyway.

Then tapes a rant for video clicks.

The very definition of a manchild.

You compared video games to hitler.

All righty.

I compared Nintendo to Hitler. You know what happens when a channel gets three pending strikes like that do you?? It gets deleted from youtube..
