Looks like Kameo, with less detail TBH, not the best graphics by a long shot IMOsaolin323
Ha ha ha! You're on CRACK! You speak as though you haven't even played the game much less own a PS3. I checked your post history. You spend most of you time in the xbox form. Might want to actually check the game out on an HDTV rather than small pictures. Kameo is cartoony! And not even close to the amount of textures, water effects and particle physics. http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/490/490038/vids_1.html

Oh, and if you get a chance. Go under the water fall. Your clothes will get wet. If you stand in the sun a few minutes. You will dry out! 4D! Baby!

I've just been seeing a lot of posts saying that COD 4 can only play in 720p....and that infinity ward lied....yadda yadda yadda. Even GS said in their review that the PS3 version doesn't play in 1080....this is all hear say. When I got COD 4 and played it for the first time I noticed that the PS3 chose to play it in 720 too. So what did I do? Manually disabled 720p in display settings and the game booted in 1080 with no issue. Try it you guys, it will work ;)kenken2g
Yeah. some other sites are reporting that too.

umm thanks but i already know my TV support full RGB i was just asking every body do they see a big difference between the two becuase i didnt.Nolan16
Yes. I like it on FULL. But be aware that it only effects games and the XMB. Blu-ray movies don't use the RGB full unless you force it. It uses the Y Pb / Cb Pr / Cr Super-White (HDMI) setting which is fine. If you change it to RGB for movies. It will be TOOOOOO DARK. Don't do it. Blah... I also had to do what you did. Once I changed it to FULL RGB (HDMI) I turned up the brightness a bit. But not too much.

You can goup games? How I don't know how to do it. And yes themes are awsome I tried the other ones they had on the store and I didn't really like them except for the pink one. I can't wait for the cookie one though and when people make their own.G-Legend
Yes, PS one and PS3 games (PSN type). Press "Square" over the game section. You can also group photos, music and videos and name the folder type.

It's a beautiful looking game.

But it's not "the best" looking game and it's not head and shoulder's above gears,HS,R&C,bioshock.

It's definitly on the same level of gear's,bioshock,hs,RC as a game thats at the top of techniclag graphics.

Personally i'd say COD4 looks better, but not by much if at all.

jshigashi

creadibilty compleatly lost.

youlost credibility when you spelled completely like you did. and how did he lose credibility by saying that? maybe you haven't played CoD4, but it does look really really good, especially the level "guillies in the mist" or whatever, most of that level is almost photorealistic. wow and i just noticed you messed up the word credibility too.

yea i know i type to fast andi dont look over what i write, but i dont care, this is a gs fourm not a class.

well atleast explain how his credibility is lost after what he said. youd either have to be biased, or never have played the game to not thinkCoD4 looks really good

Even right on the COD4 box is a quote from E3 from a gaming magazie or something... "Call of Duty 4 is the most photo-realistic game we have ever seen" That being said... the art design of the jungle is why people are raving over Uncharted.

It's hard to compare the two because the vivid colors of the jungle setting are so much prettier to look at than a war beaten Eastern European/Russian town nuclear holocaust surviving town. But the graphics in COD 4 are incredible. It depends on what someone means by "best looking game." Do they mean the most realistic, or the prettiest to look at? Extreme example: Would you rather look at a 90% real looking picture of Rosie O'Donnell naked, or a 80% real looking one that looks like Jessica Alba.

I have both. I'll let you know what I think. But I do think that COD4 might have better phisica and textures. But Uncharted might have better colors, water and motion blur.

I agree. The lighting effects and motion blur is the best I've seen on a console. I just started playing. I want check out the combat and water.

Most of everyone with a HD-TV can use RGB full range color but does it really make the graphics look better I experimented a little bit. First I have a 42 inch HD LCD 1080p TV it has a game mode on it you go into menu and switch to game mode. While on this game mode it darkness it a bit from standard mode, so I play the newest game uncharted drake the demo which has a lot of lush and beautiful textures and visual display and it looks outright amazing. Now I switch to RGB full mode on game mode and it looks darker rather dark but I can see the difference as it makes things stand out more like the sun was a lot brighter on RGB full color but things where also darker.

So I turned the brightness up to 55 from 50 and it looked a lot better and it looked vibrant but from either one it looked the same to me I didn't see any difference between the two they both have different styles but all in all they look the same you guys tell me do you see a big difference and what do you prefer I actually liked game mode on while using limited although full RGB gave a different looking style and it was cool but I like seeing more luscious brighter colors and that's what limited gave me.

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=852410 First, save this image, and put it on your PS3 via a memory card or some other method: With the option set to limited, adjust the brightness control on your TV until you can see most/all of the boxes. There are 12 boxes there, but you might not be able to see them all. You should hopefully be able to see at least 9/10 of them. Now switch it over to Full range. Can you still see all the boxes? It's very likely that you will only see a full black screen now if you're using a HDTV rather than a DVI monitor. If you can turn up the brightness control and see the same number of boxes again, then it seems your display does support the full range. If it stays black, or you can't see as many boxes as before, your TV does not support the full range option and you should be using limited. http://sr-388.net/images/patterns/Brightness.jpg
