Your rig is fine, i think there might be an issue with vista. Have you tried uninstalling your graphics card driver, then updating it one version at a time and seeing if any work?
No money would make me give up gaming , only way i'd give up gaming for cash would be the day before i die since i wouldn't be able to play it anymore and i would want my kids to be well off. But even the day before i die i'd demand at least 100,000$ (Enough for me to not play for one day)
I consider mine high end cause of me building it on saturday, and if anything can run Crysis at all high 1400x1050 with AA on with a average FPS of 30 is high end for me :)
I believe so, they informed said we will be inforemd on the 16th, as we need time to download everything, (15,000 people downloading a file that's still around 32GB iirc) will take around a day for everyone to get done (I'm not saying each person will take 1 day to download, but it will take 1 day for everyone to be done if not more).
I would definetly play it, but few few companies are trying to make these games as they don't want to take many risks.
SOE tried with Vanguard, it was supposed to bring back the roots of hardcore mmo's but it's launch wasnt great. I might pick it up again soon and try it out cause i heard it's much better, but more companies should really branch away from the market, take more risks, and bring back harder gameplay.
