I'm still using my P4 3.2Ghz 1GB DDR1 400Mhz ram 7600GS AGP 8x MSI 865PE Platinum Edition. All sitting in a Thermaltake Kandalf case, which I bought for my new system which should be ready in a week or so.
New system:

Q9450 w/ Tuniq Tower 120 LED2
2GB Corsair 1333Mhz DDR3
9800GX2
500GB HDD x2
EVGA 790i Ultra
Thermaltake 1200W PSU

Quite an upgrade if I do say so myself

Lehman

dayum

i decided the only upgrade im gonna do to my rig is to get a GT200

in 2- 3 years will do a complete new build
im gonna go INSANE on my next build

if i went for it now i would get
E8400
9800GTX x3 in Tri SLI
790i SLI mobo (prob a XFX)
2 gig of DDR3 (1800mhz)
250hdd + 500 hdd
2 dvd reader/burners

how much do you rekon that would be??

that whould give me a reference of how much im gonna spend in 2 -3 years
ofcourse by then there will be newer cards and mobo and CPU's but im gonna get teh equivelent of teh setup above

so future
some good dual/quad core
3 of the 2nd best nvidia cards (9800GTX, 8800GTX type, not GX2 or Ultra type of cards)
and 2 gig of DDR3 or 4

Well you could only have 2 9800GX2's can't triple SLI, there are only drivers to support 2

AND EVERYONE YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET A BIOS UPDATE MINE CAME AS REVISION 2.0

RayvinAzn

Good thing you told us that from the get-go.

Follow the advice in my post, ignoring the bit about the BIOS, and see what happens.

It's already working...thanks

Is my motherboard DOA?

Today i started building my first PC with these specs.

OCZ GameXstream 700W PSU

MSI NX8800GTS 512 G92

Kingston 2GB HyperX 1066

Raidmax Smilidon Extereme Black case

Gigabyete GA-P35-DS3L

Intel E8400

(The PSU is not faulty, tried it with another PC worked fine)

So i set it all up, tried turning it on with all plugs in, just ATX, just ATX out of case (In case of short citcuiting) but i never get any noises or any lights. What could be my problem?

If you were to play crysis probably on low with very low Frame rate, a 8400 is a budget card and is not made for gaming :(

YOU CRAZY!

Might work, would probably be better with 2 9800GX2's though
