I played and finished megaman 9, but I also read reviews for megaman 10, and many reviewers say megaman 10 is uninspired. All I know for sure is that megaman 9 was a true revitalization of the classic megaman games, and you can't go wrong with that!

I play very close attention to them when I play.
I only started getting trophies when I actually put my mind it - it's all mental, really. One time I did it to challenge myself, and so I had the mentally to go along with it...and then, I did it - I got a plat. A lot of people don't care about trophies, and I was definitely one of them until about a year ago, when I platinumed Ratchet and Clank A Crack in time, and then after that Resonance of fate. Admittedly R&C was easy to plat, and fun too, but ROF was the challenge I was looking for, same with Vanquish (which I gave up on - it's too hard! It's TOO MUCH of a challenge). But I understand why people plat games - it gets addicting, especially when you're competing with friends for a higher PSN level. But, why non-achievement-oriented people play games for the trophies is mostly b/c of the PROOF of their hard work (not necessarily for platting). But, for people who don't need proof, it's good for them too - at least it's there.
I'm been on both sides of the fence, that's what I wanted to say I guess, and how much you care about your trophies really depends if you want that challenge, or if you really just want that (as someone else said it) virtual icon on screen that says "PLATINUM".
I'm not voting b/c I liked both. Oblivion had some breathtaking moments, while demon souls had really none for me. Demon souls was still fun though, and its atmosphere is more darker than oblivion's, not necessarily stronger. The Maiden in Black's chant is haunting and soothing at the same time, and it still rings in my head for some reason. I really like both games, but obviously once my friends get dark souls I will have to play it with them via PSN (skyrim has no such online function), and if I have enough money get skyrim (yes, i do realize you're talking about their previous entries in the series, not dark souls and skyrim - just wanted to give my opinion in that matter).
Interesting...I love the game so far, but I really suck at it! I only came in 3rd once online ... but mind you I'm still not even 20% finished the single player game, so most of the online games I came last/2nd last in were with tracks and cars I was not used to. I haven't even dabbled in the youtube feature yet, but I heard it wasn't that conveniently implemented -- only 30 seconds of footage, plus a pretty long uploading time?? I just heard of it, haven't really tried
[QUOTE="glitch2424"]Eh, I wouldn't say thats true. I suck at SSFIV:AE and I was born in 1988 and I play it a lot..The only people who like sf4 are nostalgic gamers or semi-hardcore/hardcore fighter gamers. Everyone else on my PSN friend list stopped playign the game within 1 month (the original SF4, mind you, not sure about SSF4 or the arcade edition). This is the truth, too. The only reason why it got high ratings was b/c most reviewers are either: 1) fighting game experts /enthusiasts (which is totally appropriate), and/or 2) born well before 1988, and thus have a nostalgic attachment towards all the characters in the SF2 and SF4 roster alike. Other gamers who dropped the game within a couple of months are those who find the game too technical, and also those who have not much of a nostalgic feel for the characters (I was born after 1990, and I never liked any of the characters except for ryu, ken, and chun-li - I'm more of a SF3 type of person).

Well I meant 1988 or before - pretty much any time where someone was old enough to appreciate SF2 when it came out multiple times on the super nintendo. If you don't have much of a nostalgic feel for the game, and if you don't consider yourself a hardcore fighter gamer....then you are the exception! :)

21, owned one since i was 18

About the same - 21, had mine since launch. During my winter sessions at university, I find myself playing quick-to-play games, such as pacman DX or Lumines (alot of downloadable games, if you haven;t noticed), DS games (dragon quest V), and I try to play online maybe twice or so a week. During the summer, I'm enjoying myself with NFS hot pursuit...but damn having the sun out just begs my time outside that I haven't invested in any other game - or maybe it's the summer game drought? Both probably
[QUOTE="ACx7"]Good for the publisher/developer. Bad for the consumer. The consumer should be the main focus. hyksiu
Yes but the publisher/developer need money to continue to exist.
It's also good for the industry. Videogame development need alot of funds these days - this is why I don't think graphics/presentation should be the main focus in games
To me, the actual gameplay wasn't bad, but the story wasn't that great, and aside from duel weilding plasmids/weapons, nothing felt different than the first one.

Yup, also the challenge from the first game is pretty much gone! Of course, you are a Big Daddy after all, but still, it takes a lot out of the experience - no longer are the enemies a challenge, but they're not scary anymore, and they seem more of a nuisance than something to survive against. 8/10 for me (fun factor), decent game.
