I Am Part of a Brotherhood..........of Defias

Well, after about a month or so of Gamespot action, I am finally halfway to lvl 30:D. SHIBBY! Just a question though: what IS Defias Brotherhood? What game is it from? Anywho, there is a few stuff I guess I have to talk about. Unfortunately, no movie scores today, since I have to wait for the weekend this time to watch the horror movies that we got with my mom, since she wants to watch them too:(. What are they, though? Wait and see this weekend for my "creepy edition" of my movie scores:P.

Well, school has been kinda crummy lately. Lots of school work, including that stupid essay that I have to do in AP History that keeps kicking me in the nijerzzeds (......me and my use of words:|) and yelling in my ears, "START WRITING ME OR I'LL RAPE YOUR BRAIN!!!!!!!!!" And English class isnt getting any better either, especially when your pencils get destroyed when trying to sharpen them in the stupid pencil sharpener in that class:?. I told the smart-ass teacher about it, and all she could come up with was a smart-elic, "Yes, I know." :|. So, telling me to ask a person near me for one, I had to resort to that solution, and was arguibly defeated by a smart-ass teacher, of course. I always see her being a smart-ass to the others as well. ****ing teachers:evil:.

Oh, and not having a girlfriend is still pissing me off to death. All the hugging, the kissing, the arms around each other in the halls, it's all bugging the **** out of me. And I had the right to be pissed on Monday, when something unnecessary happened. I was at the stop sign behind a few vehicles going out of the school parking lot, when I am BUMPED in the rear-end of my car by some punk behind me. Now, being the easy-going, ish taking kind of guy that I am, I did absolutley nothing, since it wasn't serious or anything. But I glance in the rearview mirror just seconds after my car was bumped, and who do I see in the vehicle behind me? A GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND ****ING AROUND IN THE CAR!!!!:evil::evil: Somebody help me before I have a damn breakdown. Boy, just wait till Valentine's Day, when I become fired up like last year:|...........................Ok, I'm done letting all my anger out for today:).

Also, I'd like to point out a very funny "easter egg" I found while watching Amores Perros yesturday. There's this one scene in which Octavio opens his bedroom door, and on the door I noticed he had a sticker of Goku from Dragonball Z on it:lol:. I ROFFLED so hard when I saw that. But that just shows how real this movie is, in which it shows a character actually likes a certain cartoon enough to have some random sticker on his door without even knowing about it through the movie's plot. Man I swear, that movie's pwnage just becomes exceeded all the time8).

Mmkay, I guess that's about all for now. Until next time, LATA!

Dilemas of the Cinema

Awkward title, but I guess it makes sense in some way. I have watched a LOT of movies, including The Conversation and Marathon Man, and just some random others as well. The average results of the scores: not that good. Let's see, I think the total was 5 movies if I'm not mistaken. One movie was incredibly boring, one was so stupid I was ROFFLEING all over the place, one was a typical, cliched horror movie, yet surprisingly entertaining, one was a so-called classic family/sci-fi flick from the 80's, AND the last was Marathon Man. Wow, notice I described the other 4 movies and I gave the title of 1. Anyways, in the order that they were described, here they are:

The Conversation--6.5/10 (this purchase was a flop:( )

Dead Alive--7/10

Feast--7.5/10

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial--7.5/10

Marathon Man--8/10 (a movie I wouldnt watch over and over again, but I guess it was a good purchase)

Yeah, IMO, a disappointment this weekend. But with a lot of horror movies such as Alien, Psycho, The Shining, and Evil Dead in my top spots on our Netflix queue, just in honor of Halloween, I'm hoping that they are just as people say they are: pure classics.

But, movie wise, there WAS a thriving part of my weekend. While down toward where my dad works in the city of Utica, I was helping him look for a motel to stay in for the winter because he stays at a camper in the summer and early fall. Me and my mom already offered him to stay at our trailer, but since the guest room is a mess, and my father is a stubborn, independent man, he declined, and started his search for motel rooms close to work to stay in until spring. SO, after eating a lunch at Denny's, we went to the near-by mall, which was surprisingly lengthy in size. And I spotted a F.Y.E. store in there, so I just HAD to go in there. While in there, I found 2 movies that I had been looking for EVERYWHERE, and finally found them. And the prices weren't bad, either. Including the price and the score I gave them in the past, they are:

Amores Perros--$15.99, 10/10

Memento: Special Edition--$14.99 used, 9.5/10

And I also got 2 months of Vibe magazine free, also. Well, I got a choice to choose a magazine for free, but since I'm a n00b with magazines besides gaming ones, and there weren't any gaming ones on the list, I just chose Vibe:?. Yay.

Alright, I'm done posting lots of pics and boring you guys with my tedius movie scores:P. Until next time, LATA!

Feelin Like Ice Cube (UPDATED)

........because "Today Was A Good Day" :D. Man oh MAN was today surprisingly good. When I woke up this morning, I was expecting today to be full of essays and hard work because I was promised one in a couple classes "at the end of the week," AND since I took my PSAT test yesturday, I missed a couple classes, so I was expecting a little make-up work also.

Wrong I was;).

Here is how my day went down, class to class:

Chemistry--I took a test in this class a couple days ago, and yesturday all the kids that DIDNT take the PSAT got theirs back, so it was my turn to get mine back today. Being my second test in this class this year, I surpassed my first one. Got a 98% on it8). And, while Channel 1 was on, I finished up homework (in which there was none yesturday, SHIBBY:) ), and the only other thing we did was copy notes.

Studio Art--Nothing new in there. I'm working on this "Reflection" sketch book assignment right now where we have to draw a distorted reflection of ourselves from like a vase or something. I thought I was doing a mediocre job on it, but the teacher, being a hardass like she was the past two years I had her, once again complimented me. *sigh* My drawing skills are too good to touch8).

Spanish--This was the last class I missed yesturday. All I missed was a worksheet in which I completed in the first 10 minutes of class. And apparently everyone went over some gestures from vocab that we copied on Tuesday, so I missed out on that. Nonetheless, I still kicked ass during Simon Says today, and got a sweet sticker8).

Pre Calculus/Trig--Meh, nothing new here.

English--This was one of the classes I was expecting that "Type 4" essay. See, we had to write 4 "Type 3" essays in the past while reading The Crucible, and today we had to pick the one we liked the best, revise, and rewrite it. I was expecting to have to do all this at home. Nope. We did it all in class, so no homework in that class. Plus, she announced that we have a test tomorrow on The Crucible, and that we get to be in groups of 3 to work on it. SHIBBY:).

AP U.S. History--I FINALLY got my test back that we took on Friday. And boy was I pleased. I surpassed my first test by A LOT. Got a 91%8). But...........lots of people still did better than me:?, but oh well. I'll live. This was also the other class I was expecting to do the other essay in, but the teacher says that we're starting it tomorrow, so I HAVE ONE LAST DAY TO BE FREE:D:D:D!!!!!!!!!!

And that's about it. My good day. Probably going to be my last good day for a while, but who knows? Now, I will leave you with a couple movie reviews. One is a recently released Adam Sandler flick, while the other is a Japanese movie that I thought was a LOT better than Seven Samurai, but then again, it was released in 2000, so go figure. They are:

Click--8/10

Battle Royale--8.5/10

UPDATE!!!!! (as Tourette's Guy says :P) My day just got even better. I pulled a brandyinindiana just now, finding some awesome deals at the store:D. And what store you ask? Wal-Mart. I decided to go with my mom to do a little grocery shopping with her, and while we were there, we browsed around electronics. While in that section, they had a whole bunch of horror movies (a LOT being Friday the 13th movies) for only $4.88 . And I bought two movies from that section, but they weren't Ft13th movies. In fact, I dont even think these ARE horror movies, but they were in the section anyways. They are:

The Conversation

Marathon Man

And the thing is...........I havent seen any of these movies yet:?. But, being on imdb.com all the time, and seeing as they both are considered classics on that site, I just decided to pick them up. For $4.88 each, how could I pass it up. I also saw Rosemary's Baby in that section, too, but was hesitant to pick it up, but maybe this weekend I'll go back and get it.

And that's not all I got:P. This next item wasnt necessarily a deal, but, I just HAD to have it. And wouldn't you know it, it was a *gasp* CD:shock:!!!!! And even more shocking, a *gasp* CHRISTMAS CD :shock:!!!! BUT, it wasnt an ordinary Christmas CD. It was the NOW! That's What I Call Christmas 3 CD. Now, I may be a little ahead of myself, but since my second favorite genre of music next to hip-hop is Christmas, I didnt even know it had come out, so being a loyal buyer of the first two, I HAD to get this one. You can say all you want that the NOW! collection is crap, but you can't touch the Christmas ones:D. Especially with Johnny Cash singing "Blue Christmas" on it. 8)

Alright, I think I am going to jam Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day" song now just for the hell of it, since that song kicks ass, and end this long ass blog post once and for all. I'll have my scores of those two new movies of mine this weekend, since tonight is a school night and I can't watch them both:(. Until next time, LATA!

Twists Are Good

Yay, Saturday night. The last night I can stay up late until I have to return to school on Monday. Just another typical fall weekend though. All that snow we got is melted away and now it's just really cold, but oh well. That was a good sneak preview of the upcoming winter:D.

WARNING!!!! This next paragraph may contain spoilers to Okami. If you do not want to know what happens, skip ahead. If you are too curious for your own good, by all means read the spoilers.

I've been playing Okami a lot more this past week then I have been. And boy does it continue to impress me. I reached the point where you fight the supposed main boss in the game, that 8 headed dragon (cant remember his name). Even though there was still a few brush techniques missing from my roster, as well as many other things, I thought they were going to be part of optional side quests to obtain them, and thought it was the end of the game right then and there. Then, after I defeated the 8 headed beast, even MORE plot details emerged in a great twist, which seems to be a larger evil menace at work. So, I was grinning when Issun, the green, annoying bug companion of Amaretsu, said the words "our adventure is just beginning." This is when I realized the game was HUGE! I cannot say this more clearer, if you do not have this game, PICK IT UP IMMEDIATELY. One of the best PS2 games out there.

And...............I've got movie scores. Yippie for you. This weekend, I've got two 80's classics, and I've got a VERY underated non-linear movie that is one of the best I've seen since Amores Perros (and reminds me of it, too) and just FULL of twists and turns. They are:

11:14--9.5/10

The Breakfast Club--9.5/10

The Goonies--8.5/10

Welp, that's about all for now. Until next time, LATA!

It's Lovely Weather For a Sleigh Ride Together With You!!!

And my topic title does NOT lie. It actually happened. Snow in October:?. This has to be one of the most WTF? days I've had this year, because this is just too weird. But a pleasant surprise from the tedius and continuous "rain, sun, rain, sun" weather we've been having up here in Michigan. But man, this morning the weatherman was telling me that there was going to be flurries mixed with rain, but nothing extreme. I was expecting just seeing the occasional flurry mixed in with rain, followed by thunderstorms for some reason, not what turned out to be. We must have at least an inch on the ground (2-3 inches on this table we have on the deck). Never before in all my days growing up and living in Michigan have I ever seen it snow so early. And we're still supposed to get some overnight and into tomorrow, too:shock:. I know it's probably not going to happen, but a snow day would be sweet:D..............especially when tomorrow is Friday the 13th:lol:.

Welp, that's all I have to say today. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this crazy weather we're having in Michigan. I may have some movies tomorrow, who knows? So expect a couple more scores soon. Until next time.......LATA!!!!

Snow in October?!

Yeah yeah, that time is here again. Another blog entry from the tedious lifestyle of yours truly. Guess I'll get down to what's been going on lately.

First of all, have you guys heard about that aircraft that crashed into an apartment building in NYC? While I was reading my new GamePro magazine (yes, I actually read GamePro:| ), I noticed it as breaking news while the usual television program was in a small box in the lower right hand corner of the screen. When I first saw this I was like . I know it's nowhere near anything as devestating as on 9/11, but still, ANOTHER plane crashing into a building in NYC??? Damn:(.........

In other news, we are expected to get a little bit of snow tonight and into tomorrow. Yes, I said snow. In October.........WHICH EXCITES ME:D!!!!! Well, technically, it's snow and RAIN mixed, but still, SNOW IN OCTOBER!!! Also, with the TV spots of Santa Clause 3 on TV already, I'd say Christmas time is becoming closer than it should, BUT ITS STILL OCTOBER!!!! Curse October:evil:. November I like, because that's when snow usually starts AND Thanksgiving, but I just cant stand October. It drags and drags:cry:.

And, an update of school I have. 9 times out of 10 my history grade is going up, thanks to a few 100s :D. We just had an essay that we had to turn in, and I got a 100 on that. Also, we had another quiz today, which I also got 100 on. Hopefully my grade is at least a B- now instead of a dreaded C+. English is still bleh, on the count of we are reading "The Cruicible" (sp?), in which I TRY to pay attention to, but got a 76% on the last quiz :( (which was also with partners, in which mine was my friend). But we had another today, which we feel we did better on. Last, but not least, art class is still going solid. My stipple is almost done, and is looking to be even better than my last project. I may BE done by the end of the week:D.

Getting bored yet with my post? Most likely you are, but before I finish, I have 2 mediocre movies to post up here just for the hell of it today, but since I cannot find any good pictures of their DVD cases, no pictures today. They are:

Hot Tamale(s)(heh, just goes to show how forgetable this movie is, since I cant even remember if it ended singular or plural)--5/10

Thank You For Smoking--7/10

Alrighty, until next time, LATA!

The Infamous Stipple

D4mn this week flew by. Thank god, though, since it is THE WEEKEND.................and it will probably fly by like any typical fall weekend will, or at least, in my case, since my family is broke and we basically do the SAME thing weekend after weekend with a distinct weekend coming in between every once in a while. Yup, this is basically the usual schedule of my weekends lately:

Saturday
Wake up.
Run into town with my dad.
Go with my dad to pick up movies from the video store.
Go to Wal Mart and Dollar General.
Go home.
Slouch around the house for a bit.
Get on my computer.
MAYBE play video games.
Go to bed.

Sunday
Wake up.
Run into town with my MOM and dad maybe.
Go back to the video store to exchange those movies.
Go to Dollar General for something we forgot.
Go home.
Watch one of those movies from the video store.
Watch a Netflix movie I could care less about.
Watch TV while plssing and moaning about school.
Go to bed.

I know, I know, pathetic:|. Maybe something exciting will happen like I always hope for this weekend..........or maybe not:(.

Alrighty, I guess I should give you all an update of my tedius life, shouldnt I? Nothing much going on, same ol same ol. Except for art. Yes, I am continuing to get praise from time to time about how wonderful my self portrait looks. But, just last week at the beginning of the week, I started my next assignment: a stipple project. Now, for those of you who don't know, stippling is a technique in which you draw something by just dotting. Yes, constant, tedius (second time I used that word), miserable, dotting. Not knowing I was doing it the improper way at first, I used pencil instead of the appropriate drawing tool used to stipple, which is usually something like marker or crayon or pastels I assume. SO, yesturday, the teacher comes up to me and says I was the first one in all of her days teaching to ever do stippling in pencil. I was like  O RLY???? Then she said she really liked how it was turning out. Then I was like  . (I sound like a girl with this "like" talk, dont I? :P ) Then today I found out from her that people are ALREADY requesting to see how it's turning out, people from different classes that is. Man I tell ya, I really feel good about this art class this year. And no annoying seniors to get in my way and spill water on me or give me fake valentine cards this year, either:lol:....................uhhh, see my past blog posts to make sense out of that last remark:oops:.

Other than the joys of art class, nothing else really. Watched a couple more movies this week, in which both were brilliant. One was a classic 70s movie almost like a cross between, let's say, American History X and Blade Runner, and the other was............another pedophile movie:?, only this one came out in 2001 and not this past year, and it was a LOT better than Hard Candy. They are:

A Clockwork Orange--9.5/10

L.I.E.: Long Island Expressway--9/10

Alrighty, guess I should end this by saying my 4 special words: UNTIL NEXT TIME, LATA!

Sadistic Pedophiles

Yay, another Monday is upon us. And guess what? I got to find out what my test grade was in English!!!! And guess what else? I ACTUALLY didn't fail!!!!! BUT, I got a 76%, so I guess it is still disappointing, but I was relieved to get at least a C:). Now I probably only have at the lowest a B- in that class. Also, since the teacher had all the tables moved in different positions, people basically sat wherever they wanted, so NO MORE PREPPY BARBIE DOLLS TO SIT BY!!!!!!!!! Another relief in that horrid English class........wow.

Besides that.........nothing else really. Today I am giving you guys a break by not writing long "essays" for blogs. And I will leave you guys with an underated movie that just came out this year that I recommend to view at least once. It is:

Hard Candy--8.5/10

Until next time.............LATA!

Welcome to the 21st Century!!!!

It's finally happened people. What, might you ask, has happened? I've completed a before and after phase of...........cell phones:D. I FINALLY got a flip phone today. Here is my old phone:
(Nokia 6010)
BEFORE
And, this is my sweet, new flip phone:
(Sony Ericsson Z525)
AFTER

(Notice I made the second pic bigger, just to show the superiority toward the first phone picture) So, not bad, eh? Here's the thing: I WAS wanting to get that world's smallest flip phone (I forget what it's called), BUT, after tinkering around my mom's Nokia, I think it is, 6102, that she got, I found out that hers can not only take pictures, but record video and audio. The video, cool and all, but I was all about the audio, because I was making hilarious audio clips and setting them up as ringtones on her phone for laughs:lol:. So, we got to the Cingular place, but found out that the world's smallest flip phone doesnt have that. Bummer:(. So, instead of getting the same exact thing my mom got, I decided to be distinct. I decided to get the Sony Ericsson Z525. Not only does it have what I wanted on it, it's got a few more pluses that my mom's doesnt:P. But, most of all................it's great to FINALLY be a part of the 21st century fad of having a flip phone:).

That'll be all. Until next time, LATA!

Another Failed Test?

Hellz yeah, the 3 day weekend is finally here for me:D. Time to play lots of Okami, watch movies (in which both I'm posting in this very post;) ), and relax. Today was hard enough, though:( . Well, first of all we had a tedious, yet easy lab to do (along with a stupid lab report), and my lab partner was a senior:|. Speaking of that, the fool said he was going to call so we could work on it over the phone later on:cry:..................but I didnt even bring any homework home, since I finished it at school:P. So sucks for him if he DOES call (but he probably forgot about it by now:P ). IN OTHER NEWS, had another Pre/Calc test, nothing special. It seemed pretty easy, like the last one. But then my first English test came:(. Now, recall that I told you guys about those two "Plastics" I have to sit in between. So, it's really hard to concentrate on ANYTHING in that class  . I WOULD ask if I could change seats, but since the teacher is such a **** I won't even bother:|. But anyways, the test was extremely hard, just about as hard as my AP History test. Hell, I couldnt even finish my damn essay question because of lack of time:x. So, I KNOW I failed the son of a ****.

And that's about all with school. Heh heh, TEH DRAMA IS KICKIN IN!!!!!!!!!! gohantech00 might be a cranky mother f***** ONCE AGAIN like last year:lol: . But, ON THE PLUS SIDE, like I promised, I have two movie ratings for you today:D. One is that indie high school (well, its really junior high) comedy I mentioned, only its not really a comedy. It's a "dark" comedy, with a lot of drama in it. The other is a sequal to a movie I just recently gave a 10/10. But will IT get a 10 also? Find out. These movies are:

Welcome to the Dollhouse--9.5/10

Kill Bill Vol. 2--9.5/10

Yep, an underrated gem right there, that Welcome to the Dollhouse. I highly recommend it to you people looking for a good "high school" (but really being junior high) movie. As for Kill Bill Vol. 2, very good sequal. Not up there with the first, due to, of course, the lack of action that the first produced, but it was still a wild ride and I enjoyed myself.

Welp, that is all for now. Until next time.........LATA!
