One Last Small Dose of Summer (Edited Angry Part From Earlier)

Waddup peeps. I just finished my first week of school, which wasnt so bad, and it went by fairly quick. Feels like a couple weeks have passed already:shock:. Chemistry hasnt been interesting since the first day. Studio art is awesome, since I actually get to draw for once, unlike last year in 2d Art. Spanish has been a workout, since she makes us perform actions with the words. Pre Calc, English, and AP US History have been meh, but I'm actually liking AP US History surprisingly. Oh, and since the damn bus is so crowded every morning (damn 8th graders), a DIFFERENT bus comes to pick us up and I have to ride the crowded bus home. So I picked up a parking registration form the other day so I can register to drive to school, since I dont think riding the bus this way will work for me too much longer.

Nothing else besides that. Got a couple movies in the mail finally yesturday, in which I just watched a lil while ago. Here it is:

Dogma--7.5/10

I am finally done watching Kevin Smith's original New Jersey saga:D . Now I gotta go see Clerks 2 when it comes out on DVD......

So, anyways, I get 2 days (the actual Saturday/Sunday weekend doesnt really count) back I guess, which is nice..........although I am going to my grandma's on Sunday and wont return till Monday:( .

Ok, everyone have a great labor day weekend, and stay safe! Oh, and nobody answered when I asked if I should do quick movie reviews again on my last post. CMON PEOPLE! Well, anyways............
Until next time, LATA!

The Diet Coke and Mentos Experiment............At School?

Day 1 has passed. 179 days to go people. And you know what? It was alright. You want the whole 411 of the first day as a junior in high school in the shoes of a loner? Alrighty, you asked for it.......(skip down if you dont want to hear my pathetic tales)

THE BUS RIDE (school and home)--Crowded. Completely crowded. Too many new 8th graders making the bus crowded. I had to practically sit in the middle aisle. Plus, the bus driver sucks this year. This was basically the same going home too. I might think about that permit allowing me to drive to school after all.......

Chemistry--My first class. The teacher was just, meh. Not particularly nice, but not very mean either. Just........meh:|. I have a couple friends in that class, but since they have about 5 billion other friends in the same class, they barely notice me, so yeah, a drag. Talked about the syllabus and crap like that, until something interesting happened during the last minutes of class: I got to see the Diet Coke/Mentos experiment performed right in front of my eyes in real life:D . Nothing special, but I still got a huge kick out of it. Reminded me of watching Youtube all the time in summer............*sigh* Summer:cry:.

Studio Art--A bunch of deja vu from last year. Same room, same teacher, just different students. Basically just 4 kids out of the 30-something kids in my 2nd period were in studio art, one of them I knew a little bit, so it was aight (the rest were in 2d art). From what the teacher (whom I've had for the past 2 years already) described, it was basically going to be a non-linear year for me, and we'd be doing our own thing. And possibly a lot of drawing instead of painting and printmaking too:D .

Spanish 1--Nothing but small underclassmen. Only saw one other junior and that was it. But thats no problem. Nobody seems like trouble in that class, so its all good. Plus the teacher seemed pretty nice, too. And since theres lots of underclassmen, that means easy work maybe8).

Pre Calculus/Trig--Basically the same as my Chemistry class as far as friends go, and the teacher seemed a little more strict. Plus we got homework on the first day, too. Do I smell a hard, stinking year for math ahead?:(

LUNCH--At least I do know there are some friends of mine that I can actually have conversation with that have lunch with me. It was hard to actually find them, and it took awhile to find a seat (I wandered around like a moron for at least 2 minutes). And the lunch was shltty. But I hope there are better lunches up ahead.

English 11--Probably my worst experience today. Like in every other class, we got placed in seats according to a seating chart. Well, being the unlucky SOB I am, I got placed in between two jabber-mouthed, plastic Barbie looking, supermodel cheerleader prep bltches:evil:. *sigh* Besides that, basically the same situation as my Chemistry class.

AP U.S. History--Basically U.S. History.........only harder:(. But with a few friends in there and another pretty good teacher, this could end up being one of my good classes.

So there you have it folks. My "aight" first day. Probably wont be as good as last year, but oh well. It shouldn't be TOO bad. In other news, as soon as I got home, I got my sweet class ring in the mail that my mom ordered off of Wal-Mart for my birthday. Now I've got grillz in my teeth (actually braces), a cool watch, and a sweet ring. I'm all iced out:D..............now I just need a cool necklace.

Oh, and one last thing. Does everyone want me to do those quick descriptions on what I thought of movies again? The reason I'm asking is because SabotFox requested that I do that again, so I'm going to take a poll to see who does or doesnt want me to do that again. PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS PEOPLE:x . Ok, that is all. Gooday everyone.

Death of a Childhood Best Friend

Sunday, August 27th. My last day of summer. My days of playing Maple Story, watching Price is Right at lunch time, staying up until 1:00 AM posting messages on Gamespot, and watching controversial movies in my collection all day long have come to an end.........once again. That brick wall of knowledge I knocked down a few months ago is almost done with reconstruction. And the workers of this job are very fast indeed. The workers? Time.

And how did I spend this last weekend you might ask? Well, on Saturday, I helped my mom move furniture, went to Flint to pick out a couple shirts for school with my dad, got some school supplies. Finally, we went to see a movie at the movie theatre at 7:00 PM. We WANTED to see Snakes on a Plane (yes, I actually convinced my dad), but since I'm so horribly unlucky all the time, they weren't selling the tickets until about 9:55 for some reason. So we went and seen:

World Trade Center
--8/10

Now today. Nothing much today. Just a typical Sunday, nothing special.

Oh, and besides World Trade Center, I watched a few rented movies as well. They were:

Coming Home
--6.5/10

Short Cuts--8.5/10

Transamerica--9/10

Oh, I almost forgot. My dad's dog, Casey, got put down on Friday. Lived to be about 15 years old, almost as old as me:shock: . Yeah, it's a real shame, too. The longest living dog I'd ever get the pleasure to live with all these years. So, let's have a moment of silence, and then I'll start whining and crying about school some more.

Mmkay, that's good enough. R.I.P. old dog.

*gulp* Welp, I guess this is my final summer blog post. By the time I put up another one, my first day of HELL..............errrr, SCHOOL, I mean, will probably have passed. Who knows, maybe MORE than one day will pass? Wish me luck people...........on my first day as a junior:?.

Mature Games and R-Rated Movies

Welp, it is official folks! I am proud to say that I, gohantech00, have turned 17 today. WHOOPIE!!!!!!!:D:D:D Yup, you heard me right. Friggin 17. And while I didnt have the most extraordinary 17th birthday, it was still really good.

First of all, yesturday was when I got to hang out with a few of my buddies. Well, only 2 out of 4 people that gave me their word that they were coming actually showed up: that girl I went to Pirates 2 with and my buddy that spent the night with me during the beginning of the summer. Yeah, so much for having friends:roll: . So, we sat and watched a movie (I'll get to that later) while eating pizza, and then headed down to the local fair for about a half an hour waiting for a movie we were going to go see at the theatres to start (Once again, I'll get to that later). So, basically, after the movie, I took my lady friend home and me and my other friend just basically goofed off on chatrooms when we got back to my place.

Now, TODAY was my actual birthday. And it was pretty sweet, too. We got to go to the notorious Michigan mall, Great Lakes Crossing, and I basically spent about 100 bucks on games and DVDs, so it was great:). Here is all what I got and which store I got them from:
EB Games
Siren--$9.99 used
Cold Fear--$12.99 used
Yeah, as you can see, I was yurning (sp?) for some survival/horror action (despite the average GS scores they got). Next store of interest was:
F.Y.E.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory--$14.99 used (could not pass that up, since I heard this game is incredible)
Hustle & Flow--$14.99 used (and saw it for $11.99 new as soon as I walked out of the store:roll: )
Yeah, Hustle and Flow. Great Movie. Gave it a 9/10 I believe? Anyways, last store that caught my interest was:
Circuit City (yes this mall had a Circuit City)
Apocalypse Now: The Complete Dossier--$14.99 new ( )
City of God--$19.99 new (best deal I've seen on this movie thus far)
Taxi Driver--$15.99 new
So, that was basically my trip to the mall. BTW, the scores I gave these movies (in the order that they appeared) are 9/10, 9.5/10, and 10/10. So, pretty good purchases? You decide...........by dropping some comments:P.

Oh, and I almost forgot. My mom got me a DVD for my birthday this morning as well. It was:
Final Destination 3 (which I gave an 8/10, I think)

So, mostly DVDs, but thats ok. I love me movies:oops: .

And speaking of movies (uh-oh, here it comes), I HAVE SOME BRAND NEW MOVIE RATINGS!!!!!!!! (I bet you all are saying, "Great. More pics. Curse me having a 56k modem:x ) In fact, I have 5!!!! Wowzers. In this mix includes a very confusing detective story, a surprisingly good horror movie, an okay comedy, a Will Ferrell comedy, and a romantic comedy with twists and turns. Here they are:

Brick
--6/10

The Hills Have Eyes--8/10

The Benchwarmers--6.5/10

Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby--8/10 (this is the movie I went and seen at the theatres BTW)

Chasing Amy--8/10
*whew* Too many movies. I need to lay off of them every once in a while....................ok maybe I did practically the whole week last week. Alright, I'll end this hidiously long, picture filled post for good now. Until next time peoples, LATA!

That's Racist!

I cannot believe what I am seeing! A whopping 9 comments (only a couple repeated) on my last blog post :D ! FINALLY, I get a decent amount of comments. I guess joining a union has its "outside" benefits, too:wink: .

Let's see, here's the lowdown on the past couple days. Went to the dentist yesturday, got my braces adjusted, I'm in lots of pain, yada yada yada. Today, I got registered for school, which went well. Got a decent schedule, and found out I had classes with a couple friends, AND lunch, too. So it's all good.

Oh, and finally, I got to watch another movie from Netflix. It was a very good one I gotta say. It is:

Do the Right Thing--9.5/10

Alright, NOW I can post the picture, after the glitch earlier made me wait until later to post it. So, now I rated the movie, showed what it was, we're all happy and dancing now. Well, I am happy and dancing, but for a different reason: I'M LEVEL 23!!!!!!!! Sweetzorz. Ok, well, I have no more to say, so I guess until next time, LATA!

Ripped Off at EB Games?

Wow, what a busy week I have ahead of me! I mean, it started off with a trip to the mall on Sunday. Got my new school outfit, which is "shmexy":P . Anyone ever been to the store "Steve and Berry's?" Basically, everything is $6.98 or less, and the actual store reminds me of Old Navy for some reason. But yeah, one of my favorite clothing stores.

Also, my prediction was right. I DID get a new game. This is what I got:

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil. Ahhhh, yes. You've probably seen it in my Now Playing section already. Got it for only $17 used at EB Games, which I thought was better than prices on Ebay for once. But check this out. A lady was trying to help a new employee at the register, so, being suspicious, I checked to see if they put the right game in the case before I left. And, as I predicted, I DID get the wrong game. The stupid idiot gave me the original Doom 3 instead. So I went back up to them and told them, and thats when they gave me the right game. F***ers should've gave me my money back, too:evil: . See if I ever go to THAT EB Games ever again. But, I've been enjoying the hell out of it, but unfortunately, its the shortest game I've played in a LONG time. Took me only about 6 hours to beat. But it filled my run-and-gun FPS needs. Plus, I was also happy that there was Master Levels of Doom 2 included with it, which I've never played before, so that was cool. And these levels make the Final Doom levels look easy:shock:.

So, other than that, I've still got a dentist appointment, school registration, my birthday party on Saturday, and finally, my actual birthday on Sunday. Oh, and aclark24. I am STILL posting messages in your union, and will TRY to continue to do so, so go eat some crackers with that whine or something:P. Just messin with ya:wink:. Anyways, that about does it for this blog post. Until next time, LATA!

Painting the Porch

Dang! It's been a week since I last posted a blog entry. Must be because I had such a boring week, as well as lazy. But now the weekend is here, and it is Saturday night (was my dog Scooter's birthday today, also:D ). I got to help with a new paint job on our porch, which was alright I guess. Thank god the temperatures werent skyrocketing, or I would've probably died:shock::shock::shock:.................nah, just playin:P. But I got some sun today, so it was all good. Tomorrow I'm FINALLY going school shopping with my parents, which I am kinda anticipating, since the mall has EBGames and/or Gamespot in it, so who knows? Might get me some new games..........or maybe a DVD.

In other news, I am preparing for my birthday celebration next weekend. Yes, I said it. August 20th is my birthday, which I cant wait for. On the 19th, though, I'm planning on having a celebration with a few of my friends (originally invited 5 boys, but only 2 are showing, and later on, I also invited a girl too just because I was desperate:? ). Hopefully it goes according to plan and all. Oh, and sorry to disappoint you all, but no movie ratings this week, thanks to my mom:evil: . She STILL hasnt watched her crappy movies that she got from Netflix about A WEEK ago, so I pry wont be getting movies until next week. Oh well, until next time. BUHbye.

Swimming

Another summer weekend over......*sigh* And three weeks until school starts back up. Damn this summer is cruising on by faster than a speeding Ferrari. Well, nothing much happened to me over the weekend. Just went swimming FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SUMMER with my niece and nephew, which was a blast. Ummmmm, I joined a union that I ACTUALLY LIKE this weekend, thanks to aclark24:wink:. And last but not least, I watched a couple more movies. Here they are:

Donnie Brasco--7.5/10

V for Vendetta--9/10

Until next time, LATA!

Hanging Out With Teh Sk8ers/Stoners.........

Wow, I actually got a decent amount of comments in my last entry! Alright:D! Guess I gotta post some interesting things on here instead of movie ratings all the time, eh?

Well, lets see, the past day or so has been surprisingly different for me. To start off, yesturday, I wanted to go swimming with my mom, but I also wanted to take a friend along. Heh, some friends I have:roll:. They were either not home or busy with something. Figures. So, sitting at home, my mom stumbles along an old home video in a box. Man, dont you just love watching home videos of yourself when you were about 4 or 5 years old? Brought back many memories for me, thats for sure.......

WARNING: If you dont want to hear my long story that has to do with the topic title, skip down to the next paragraph.

So, soon after that, I got a knock on the door. It was one of those punk sk8er kids and his friend, whom I used to be friends with back in 7th grade, but not really anymore. Turns out the kid needed to use my cellphone to call his precious gf:roll:. So, while he was doing that, me and the sk8er kid actually had a good conversation, and he even invited me to his house. I was hesitant at first, but after eating the rest of my dinner, I decided to go. Heh, we WERE going to play video games, but INSTEAD, this jerk off 38 yr old man that lived next door to him was over with them shooting the breeze and talking about past fights, doing their gfs, etc. I just sat the whole time with nothing to say basically. Plus, my old friend's gf kept calling on my cell. Yippie, a girl I DONT KNOW calling my cell asking for this kid. So, I left at 6:30, the girl called a bit later for the last time, and my old friend came over WHILE we were watching a movie, and needed to use my damn phone again. So, being the "easily influenced" person I was, I let him use it AGAIN.......for the last time. Cause my mom had a LONG chat with me about letting kids use my cell phone for useless purposes and not to let people use me like that. *sigh* What an afternoon THAT was.

Alright, you probably heard me mention a "movie" that we were watching, didnt ya. Yes, we got a couple more movies from Netflix, but neither one of them were ones I picked out. The one we watched, though, was quite interesting, though (even if it WAS a classical movie). It was:

Bonnie and Clyde--7/10

Anything else I left out? Oh, well, I beat Indigo Prophecy, finally. And I dont get how the ending was so disappointing, unless I got the REALLY GOOD ending. Idk, different opinions for different people. Also, I started playing RE3 some more, too. *SPOILERS* I'm stuck at the part where after you get out of the clock tower, you have to fight Nemesis, though. I keep reading on walkthroughs that they used lots of Magnum bullets or used the grenade launcher, but all I have is 3 bullets and I never aquired the grenade launcher. I DO have the mine thrower, though. *END SPOILERS* If anyone has any clues on how to beat him in these conditions, let me know (heh, barely anyone comments on my posts anyways, so I'm basically screwed there:roll: ) Alright, this is a long enough post, so I'll catch you guys later. BUHbye.

My Secret Revealed?

Ok, I'll get to the main topic of this post in a second. But first, what's been going on in my world this past weekend? Well, not much. Got to see a cardboard boat race at this Bologna Festival in this small town of Yale, MI on Sunday, which was cool. But, of course, we HAD to get struck with severe thunderstorms....again. This summer has been BAD with severe storms. It's getting old.......

Got Baldur's Gate 2 in the mail last week. Man am I disappointed. This game is too damn complicated:evil:, from trying to cast spells and skills, to all the fancy menus, to the D&D game rules (which I am clueless on, BTW), this game is HARD!!!! And I was expecting Fallout-type gameplay too:cry:.
As for Diablo, I havent touched it since the day I got it. Guess I dont care for that one, either. Oh well, at least I only wasted $20 altogether instead of about $40 or $50....

Also, I watched another movie, a movie my dad rented and brought over. But it was one I really wanted to see. It is:

Final Destination 3--8/10

Ok, now for the secret of mine. For those of you who keep up with my blog posts, a LONG time ago, I mentioned I had a "secret," but wasn't ready to share it quite yet. Nows the time, since I'm bored as hell. Ready? Here it is................one of my relatives is gay. There. I said it. I have a gay relative:shock:. TEH SCANDELS!!!!! Now, I'm not going to mention WHICH ONE is gay, I'm going to keep that a mystery until I'm ready. So, a shocker? Hopefully you all arent homophobes...............but if you are, and you want to talk ****, then I hate to say this, but **** you. Alright, until next time, lata people.
