Dang, the first few weeks of school have flown by so quickly for me:shock:. It feels like I've been in school for at least a couple months now. So far, though, it hasn't been too bad. Mostly had my ups and downs.
First of all, for my ups, I've been becoming well-known around my school, thanks to my artistic abilities:D. Instead of staying hung up in the art room, my self-portrait made its way into a showcase right next to the office:D:D. I've had around 6 people that aren't even IN art classes recognize me and compliment me saying my drawing was really good. *sigh* Yup, Studio Art is my favorite class this year so far. Also, in other news, I got a 95% and 101% on my first Chemistry and Pre Calc (respectively) tests last week, which made me feel proud:). AND, I only get 4 days of school this week, so I have a 3 day weekend ahead of me. WOOT!
But that's only 2 out of 3 of my first tests that I've been taking, leading into my downs:(. My ass finally took a beating in that AP History class. Only got a 62% on my test:(:(. And, with all the low scores I've gotten on all my quizzes in that class, most likely I've got at least a C. I could've studied for the test last Thursday, but, thanks to Okami, I just HAD to play IT instead of studying for something important:evil:. Damn new, highly anticipated video games.
Speaking of Okami ( *grumbles* made me fail a test grrrrr *grumbles* ), I've gotten to that forest, which indicates I'm still not that far. But maaaaan is it an incredible experience. The more I play, the more I'm reminded of Zelda..................and the more I'm reminded to study for my tests:x.
OK, before I explode from the memory of my first failed test ( ), I'm going to end this blog post once and for all. I should have some movie ratings up by the end of the week, since I'm expecting a couple in the mail. One is a sequal to a movie I gave high praise to, while the other one is an independant high school comedy. I'll leave you guys guessing until I have them up;). Until next time, LATA!

A Flip Phone, Finally?
by gohantech00 on Comments
Ahhhhh, fall is officially here:D. My favorite time of year. Leaves falling, as well as temperatures, which is a sign of snow, in which THAT is a sign that.............CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!! *sigh* But we are still in September, so gotta wait a while still.
Well, what's new you say? First of all, my mom and dad finally got their phones upgraded, and you can say that me and my parents were introduced to flip phones, after a few years of living in the stone age with our old phones:P . Those suckers are cooler than I thought, and I thought they were just a huge gimmick. But did I get one too? Not quite yet. I almost got my parents to get me that one flip phone which is supposed to be the "world's smallest flip phone," but I decided to wait a couple more weeks and see if any new phones that were even sweeter came out. Heh, my mom is calling it an "early Christmas present."
Besides that, I've been barely playing Okami, since I've been watching lots of movies this weekend, and just doing simple errands with my parents around town. But yeah, I've got 3 more movie ratings for you folks this weekend, which were about samarai, abusive stepfathers, and a canoe trip gone wrong. They are:
Seven Samurai--8/10
This Boy's Life--9/10
Deliverance--8.5/10
Alrighty, nothing else to really say, so until next time, LATA!

YIPPIE!!!! FLOWERS AND SPARROWS.....................ok, wtf did I just say:? ? ANYWAYS, today was a LOT better than yesturday, as you can see. First of all, and most importantly, I finally got my hands on Okami. Now, just to clear this up, I noticed that people asked me when they commented (thank you VERY much btw, I really appriciate all those comments:D ) questions such as "Can't you just go to Target, Best Buy, etc.?" Well, if I want to drive all the way to Flint I could:?. All I've got in my town is a Wal Mart, Meijer, and K-Mart. But, Wal Mart FINALLY delivered today, and for the past 3 hours, I haven't been anything but left in awe with Okami. It truly IS similar to Zelda. Even more so than Dark Cloud 2:shock:! I haven't gotten very far, but boooooy you can just feel how similar it is to playing a Zelda game.
In other news, yesturday, after I posted my angry blog post, I got to watch another movie. But was it really good? Well, first of all, it was directed by Quentin Tarantino. Check. It was over the top with crazy violence. Check. The story is non-linear in a way. Check. And, it even has something refreshingly original: an anime scene in it. Check. Give up (well, you probably didnt even need to guess since the pic is as plain as day:| )? It was:
Kill Bill Vol. 1--10/10
Another one to add to the ol' collection. Luckily, I've seen it a everytime I go to the video place with my dad to rent his movies, and it's pre-owned and cheap, so maybe next time I'll pick it up. Can't wait to see Vol. 2, though.
IN OTHER NEWS............well, that space shuttle is finally back on Earth............and, I took my first Chem test today, which was easy.................and, I have a friggin AP US History test tomorrow:(................and, I love porkchopzorz...............and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon got a really low score, so it sucks for that game...................and, I think I will go back to playing Okami now:P. Catch ya later. Until next time, LATA!!!!!

Time to Be PISSED Some More
by gohantech00 on Comments
I'm so pissed right now:evil: . Too many things going on at the moment that aren't going my way. First of all, Okami was released yesturday, right? I wanted this game REALLY bad, so I went to Wal Mart after school. No luck. So, I figured "Well, it's probably still shipping and will be out tomorrow most likely." So, after being pissed about going through ONE tedious, dragging school day, waiting to go to Wal Mart and obtain Okami, I go through ANOTHER tedious, dragging school day today. And are my hopes too high again? Yes:| Unless they got sold out already (and I dont see how, since I doubt that many people know about the game in my town), this is getting to be ridiculous. WHEN THE **** IS IT COMING OUT!!!!!???? Now, I've read on the forums yesturday, seeing that some people claim it might be out at the earliest on Friday, which I am terrified for, because I WANT TO PLAY A GOOD GAME!!!!!! And since I dont have a Gamestop or EB in my town, I'm **** out of luck going there, since I heard people saying it's coming out in them stores today. *sigh* Maybe I'll go to the Meijer in my town later (and NO I'm not the type that calls department stores to see if they got a game in, because most of the time they are really rude and it makes me nervous, unless it's a game store like Gamestop or EB, since they actually KNOW about games).
Oh, and another thing: I GOT 0 COMMENTS ON MY LAST POST:evil:. After all the posting I do in YOUR blogs, what do I get. FOR SHAME!!!!! I SHALL STOMP YOU WITH MY FEET O' FURY..................well, you catch my drift.
Lastly, it seems I have no friends at school now, since none of them TALK to me anymore:evil:. Sure, I get the occasional "Hi" every now and then, but I can't get a decent conversation out of NOBODY because they're "better" friends are in that same class, and I feel avoided because they hang out with those people, and dont ever talk to me anymore. But there is one positive note about school: Studio Art. That class pwns. I just got done with my self-portrait today, and I got more compliments on it than I did on ANY project I did last year in 2-d. *sigh* Yep, back to my good ol' artistic ways again:).
Ok, I'm done being pissed and making a complete ass of myself. Just had to let out some inside fury. Feel free to drop a flame or not post at all like always. Until next time, LATA!

Wii News, Homecoming, and a Sweet Collaboration in a Movie
by gohantech00 on Comments
Welp, it is Saturday yet again people. Have no idea what I'm going to do today, though. Probably sit back and relax..............and anticipate more for Okami:D. After looking into it more, and seeing all the great reviews on it so far, as well as it being compared to Zelda, I guess I was bought! Plus, it's only supposed to be $40, so what the hell? The game truly looks incredible, and it will hold me over until Christmastime I guess. Only about 3-4 days to go.
Speaking of games, I'm sure everyone has heard all the Wii news by now. I want that thing so bad. But I keep getting worried that it will sell all its units in North America at around an hour after midnight the night it releases:? . Thanks Microsoft:roll: . Thanks for worrying me on future sell outs of consules on launch day and making me nervous. But then again, there was only, what, under 100,000 units released in North America? And Nintendo is saying that 4 million units will be sold worldwide on launch day, correct? So, maybe it wont be hard to get.......
Moving on, this weekend is also the weekend for *gulp* homecoming, in my town. AND TO CELEBRATE, LETS HAVE A 56K PREPPY PARTY, SHALL WE????!!!!!
OMGZORZ!!!!!
POTENTIAL HOMECOMING QUEENIEZZ??!!!!
TEH JOCKZ R SO BUFFED!!!!!!!
:|I'm so hilarious, aren't I? BTW, these are random pics on Google that I found, so don't ask how I got these pictures taken. Once again, I'm so hilarious, arent I? BOY you can tell how much sarcasm I have when it comes to homecoming. Not really my thang as you can tell. Cause, like I mentioned before, I'm basically a loner, so oh well.
ENOUGH OF THAT, I've got a movie rating for you today, and it's a movie where two of America's greatest movie stars collaborate (and the supporting cast isn't anything to laugh at, either). Oh, and I have a couple other movies as well, one in which I've needed for quite awhile as far as a thinking movie goes, and a decent detective movie. They are:
Heat--8/10
Lucky Number Slevin--9.5/10
Seven--7.5/10
ALRIGHTY THEN, I think I'll end this beeoch right now so I don't bore you all who actually read my blogs. Until next time, LATA!!!!!

Alan Jackson and Toby Keith Come To Mind.........
by gohantech00 on Comments
Jesus, 5 years have passed already. I cannot believe this. 5 years since............I played hookey instead of going to school. Man, that was quite the day. Me and my mom were visiting this good friend of her's across the state of Georgia (we lived in Clayton, she lived in Rockmart), and I had already skipped my 6th grade classes on Monday, so we said, why not stay for another day? Ahhhhh, I remember that previous Monday night well. We sat outside at this picnic table out back of this bar in Rome, Georgia, eating a delicious pizza, and even having a minor food fight if I can remember:lol:. Good times, good times.
So, on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, we stayed with my mom's friend once again in northwest Georgia. Since she worked at this college at the front desk, we just decided to hang around that area for the day. So, I stayed inside with her, while my mom just basically took a nap in our van. Passing the time, I drew pictures and played on this laptop computer the first half of the morning. That's when all the disaster struck. Being near a radio, it was official: Airplanes had struck the Twin Towers AKA World Trade Center in the Big Apple:shock:. Soon after, the same thing happened at the Pentagon and an unknown Pennsylvania town called Shanksville. The Twin Towers collapsed. And immediately after, the War on Terrorism had officially begun.
5 years later, I have grown a mustache, become old enough to drive and buy R rated movies and M rated games, and had moved back and forth several times from Michigan to Georgia and vice versa. The Nintendo DS and PSP have become portable game consule hits, and John Kerry lost an election to George Bush. There is a war in Iraq that has lead to the capture of the former dictator, Saddam Hussain, and the Ipod has debuted. 50 Cent has become a multi-platnum rapper, and Green Day has released a pretty much "flopped" album in people's eyes. The Lord of the Rings books got translated into cult films, and Uwe Boll has been named one of the worst directors of all time. Yes, much has changed since September 11, 2001. But America's courage to stay strong against this war on terrorism? Never. And their memories of what happened that fateful day will never change as well. That's why we should give a moment of silence to those lost, and the families that lost the people who deceased that day (at least, the people who are reading this BLOG should give a moment of silence):
:|
Mmkay, that's good.
And, to close this blog post, I have a movie rating for you, and it has to do with 9/11, also. It is:
United 93--9.5/10
Oh, I also got forced to watch RV, too, but since it has nothing to do with 9/11, and since it is a piece of crap, let's just forget about it.
Ok, well, until next time, LATA!

My Ass Had Turned To Jello!
by gohantech00 on Comments
The topic title is just about true. With all of the movies I've watched this weekend, I'm surprised it hasn't turned into stone:? Here's all of the movies I watched:
Tape--8/10
True Romance--9/10
Desperation--6/10
Blade Runner--8/10
BTW, I also went garage saleing today, and got lucky with a couple of DVDs. One of them was Blade Runner, which was only $2. I hadn't seen it yet, but heard it was a classic, so I said why not? Even though it didn't impress me TOO much, it was still a great deal. I also got:
Now, Magnolia I had seen way earlier this year. Even though I gave it an 8/10, because of that ridiculous ending, I still thought it was pretty good. And at that same garage sale I got Blade Runner from, they were selling Magnolia for only $3:shock:. It was the special edition that is shown in the above picture, too, which made it an even better purchase.
Ok, enough wasting your time people, I'll end my boring blog post. Until next time, LATA!

The Janitor Attacks.......
by gohantech00 on Comments
Well, well, Hump Day is here. And surprisingly, this week is going by very well and fast. First of all, I'm finally driving to school instead of riding the crowded bus now. It feels like I have so much more freedom now:) . Got the parking permit yesturday.
Also, after months of anticipation, a new Tourette's Guy video has surfaced!
Since the url has a cuss word in it, I have to post it like this.
It's hilarious as ever. Especially the ending:lol:
Ok well, thats all for now I guess. Until next time, LATA!
Sickness and Death
by gohantech00 on Comments
Ok, so I'm back folks. Wasn't that great of a trip up north to my grandma's house to tell you the truth. You see, she's been having these "moments" lately, according from my mom being told on the phone in the past, in which she just blanks out, and has these "mini comas." Then she can't remember what happens. Well, since she has diabetes, last night her blood sugar was low and she started feeling weak. Then she started scaring us when we thought she was having one of these "mini comas," since she wouldnt respond to anything we'd say to her too quickly. But thank goodness after she ate a couple pieces of candy and sugar products, she became better after a little while. So me and my mom are really worried about her lately:(.(BTW, my mom's better now. Just a typical hangover, nothing special.)
Then the trip home wasn't that exciting either. Since it was the last day of Labor Day weekend, we ran into all sorts of traffic, making a 2 hour trip turn into a 4 hour trip. So, my whole afternoon has been wasted:evil:.
And now I am here, posting yet another useless blog post to you unappriciative people:| . Oh, and I dont know if the Off-Topic boards were bombarded with this topic already or not all day today, but did any of you hear about Steve "The Crocodile Hunter" Erwin's death? I was only waking up this morning when my mom told me. From a sting ray killing him with its tail, I believe? Bizarre stuff:? I didn't really care for the guy, nor did I watch his stuff on TV, but man, I've heard about that dude a lot, so it's surprising that a man like him died..........just like that:|.
Alright, well, until next time, LATA!

Mysterious "Booms"
by gohantech00 on Comments
What the........? At the time of this blog post, there appears to be some very strange "boom" sounds outside in the distance, with the appearance of flashes of light:? . OH NOES, TEH AL'QAEDA HAVE FOUND US IN A RURAL MICHIGAN TOWN AND ARE BOMBING THE CRAPPOLA OUT OF USZORZ!!!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!
Uhhhh, sorry for that paranoid moment:? . I get like that sometimes. SOOOO, nothing much going on this weekend so far. My mom got really sick today from last night................well, let's just say she partied a LITTLE too hard, so lots of alcohol + kimotheropy pills (my mom survived breast cancer BTW)= Hangover puke to the max:? . Yeah, very nasty stuff.
Going to my grandma's tomorrow and wont be returning until Monday, so hope you won't die from all of the emotional build-up of missing me :P.
Oh, and been watching movies alot today, so here are a couple movie scores for ya:
The Butterfly Effect--9/10
Silent Hill--7.5/10
.............ok those strange "booms" have stopped it seems. Maybe people are at a (I'm gonna sound so stupid for saying this, since it's late at night, but.........)..........shooting, range? Uh, no matter, until next time, LAAAAATTTTTAAAAAA!!!!!
