@videogameninja: Yeah I think he's talking a lot of sense there.
One idea could be; instead of permanently working at these huge studios, instead, have several indie/AA companies come together to make one "big" game occasionally, then once the project is complete, return to their usual indie space, making unique, smaller games.
Sounds decent, though I prefer Resident Evil's inventory when everything you pick up is significant and takes space, rather than 4's approach where it's like the only thing that takes space is weapons and health items.
This is basically a fusion of 7 & 4, no bad thing in itself but the general enemies look kind of bland to me (guys with knives and hammers are not good horror enemies) in comparison to the rather brilliant Lady tall-whatever-her-name-is design.
I'll pick it up eventually, but RE2 remains king imo.
@uninspiredcup: If it's like early Rainbow Six and SWAT then I'm definitely interested. No way will Ubisoft make something that niche again, so I hope these guys do a good job.
I've always played Hitman like this, as it's closer to the experience of the older games. The problem with doing this in the reboot series, is the "enforcers" are impossible to recognise.
@MashedBuddha: You cannot change disguises in front of people without consequences. Also Splinter Cell is very linear and scripted compared to Hitman, so it's odd you'd see that as a superior stealth game imo.
