Glad it is getting good reviews, but for those saying it will be GOTY... I highly, HIGHLY doubt it will be. Not when you still have games like X, Destiny, Smash Bros 4, Infamous Second Son, Arkham Knight, and possibly MGS5, all still on the way in 2014.

@toast_burner Because in the world of gaming media, a 7 (i.e. "good") typically just means "ho-hum." It's not bad, but it's not really that good either. Personally, I think a 7 probably is not too far off for this game.

Polygon - 8.5/10

Destructoid - 8/10

Game Informer - 8.5/10

IGN - 9/10

Summary from Destructoid: "If you don't watch South Park that often, you most likely won't enjoy The Stick of Truth as much as someone who does. The RPG elements are very serviceable but they're not going to satiate most of the hardcore genre fans out there. It's a good thing then that the rest of the package is filled with so much care from the show's creators, that it makes it something truly special."

@bunchanumbers Clearly Gamespot reviews have become more about click-bait than anything else. I don't come here looking for journalistic integrity.

@Kevin-V @bunchanumbers Ummm, that can be a pretty fine line, my man. Especially when you look at a game like Dark Souls. Half of its difficulty is "cheap," yet you here very few people knocking it for it.

@Gelugon_baat @niceguy77 It's pretty foolish to dismiss what is right in front of your eyes, plain as day, my man. No offense.

The proof is in the pudding, as it were.

@tinyname Maybe you just need to get out more. Read some of the other reviews. This one's somewhat of an anomaly.

(For the record, I own a PS4 and a Wii U, but so far I like the Wii U a LOT more.)
