i noticed the idle temperatures of my gpu have increased since i put my desktop resolution to 1280x1024 instead of 1024x768. Logically, this should be normal, but im wondering if its not just because of the dust that gets in my case since my case is open. Thanks in advance.

if it's only with that game then try reinstalling and see if it helps or update to the latest patch.SiBaba
it sometime crashes normally, soetimes it will crash with the flashing screen, and the beeping sounds in my headphones, with the computer being really slow.

Drivers maybe?Luminouslight
well, as i said, i had a hard bsod last week : i updated my driver from 158.22 to 162.18, fired up condemned, and got a bsod. Restarted the computer, and windows wouldnt boot up, since the system/windows32/config/system was missing or damaged. I had to repair windows with the original cd, and then everyting was fine, now im back with 158.22, and will keep this driver till the next version is released. And this weird way of crashing has happenned since then.

When i play hl2dm and crash (something usual with this game), it doesnt crash like usual. My screen flashes about 10 times and then goes black, then i must ctrl-alt-del and close the application. After that, i hear those beeping sounds in my headphones, like every 30 seconds, and everything is really slow, like the start button reacts about 15 seconds late when i click it, and those beeping sounds continue. Though if i restart the computer, everything is fine. This has started happenning after a bsod last week ( i had to repair windows with the cd ). So yeah i would like to know what causes this. Thanks in advance.

it also could be overheating. Check your temperatures. Go download everest. check your teams, and come back here and we will tell you if those temperatures are good or not.
