Ask me...

You aren't using more then 250-270w at load. A quality 400w PSU is more then enough.
It takes a lot of time and research to become a human power consumption calculator.

LordEC911
lol thankyou M. Power Calculator, and what if i slap a 8800gts 320mb in my pc, do you think it will be enough to power it? My psu is a TT 470W 29A on the 2 12V rails (if you are sig-blind:P).

its a x1950pro, but im probably upgrading to a 8800gts 320mb and it seems that those 8800 run pretty hot because of the default low fan speed, wich i will want to set to 100% all the time, since i dont mind noise and prefer to have it really cool. And in the mean time i also want to set the fan on my 1950pro to 100%. Will the fan's life span be shorter if its at a constant 100%? Also, since my power supply will probably barely handle the gts (its a TT 470W 29A on the 2 12V), i was wondering if setting the fan to 100% would consume more energy. Thanks a lot by the way.

i got 5.1 zalman headphones and they are great! I thought it was kind of weird at first, that zalman made headphones, but it turns out they are the best i have ever used. I dont think it's avaible on newegg but you can get them on tigerdirect.

alright thanks a lot, is there a big difference between ati tool and ati tray tools? Is there one that really stands out compared to others?

yeah vent has been out for a while. The quality depends on the server you are on though, as quality=+money. Xfire has better sound quality though imo.

also, does it void the video card's warranty if i use programs like riva-tuner and ati-tray-tools to OC it or change the fan speed?

greatmax1
this is my main question. I just need to know if it voids the warranty if i use programs to modify the fan speed on the gpu.
