Alright i would like to know how to change GPU's fan speed all the way up to 100%. I was also wondering if it was possible without downloading something like like riva-tuner and ati tray tools. I know you can change the speed of the cpu and case fans through the BIOS, but i dont remember seeing an option for the gpu fan. Thanks in advance.

PS: If its done differently with ATI and nvdia, please mention both ways.

Alright so i currently use a 1280x1024 monitor but intend to upgrade to a 1680x1050 before next summer. My question is, should i go with the 320Mb version of the 8800GTS over the 640Mb version considering my relatively low res? Also, is there a big difference between the two at higher resolutions like 1680x1050. Since there is a 110$ difference between them, i think i would go for the 320Mb... unless there is a major imporvement with the 640Mb. Thanks in advance

[QUOTE="greatmax1"]go to CCC advanced and move the vertical refresh slider to the far right, you will have vsync on for every game from now on though. You can also switch it back off after playing bf2.mestizoman

thx a bunch

now with my specs, itll probably force it to run at like 74 fps right?

yeah well if your screen refresh rate is set to 75mhz, your fps will cap at 75, with no more tearing :D

[QUOTE="greatmax1"]alright so would like to know if my 470W PSU can handle a 8800GTs 640/320 MB. Aslo, im getting a VF900 fan to put on my overheating X1950pro, do you think my future 8800GTS will need it or it runs cool enough. Thanks in advance.Jd1680a

There is a 8800 gts card on newegg.com. The specs says the card needs a 400 watt minimum power supply. You probably want to get something higher to allow more headroom for your other hardware also may help expandability when it comes.

Alright thanks, the thing is, im either getting a 8800gts and a new monitor, or the 8800gts with a new PSU if needed, and id like to get the monitor over the psu if possible :P
