@Whirly I'm fine with the NPCs being invisible to the enemies simply because it avoids the companion characters blowing your strategies every two seconds. It only happened once where Ellie shot a zombie I didn't want to engage yet, but if it was happening constantly the game would be near-unplayable.
Just beat it; personally I'd give it a 9. The exploitable AI is the only real negative I can point out; and playing on hard mode, there were moments I was quite happy to be able to trick the AI, even if it did mess with the immersion. I also could have done with less human battles and maybe a couple more zombie fights. Not that the human battles were boring, they just felt a bit forced at times (how many bandits are in this crew!?!) The story is awesome and the ending left me with a whole mess of complicated thoughts and feelings. The best Resident Evil game made in the last ten years is The Last of Us- this is the true modern evolution of survival horror.

@nortonblocksolo Way more exclusive games, blu ray playback, the ability to upgrade capacity with any laptop harddrive, rechargable controllers that don't require buying $30 batteries, cheaper online service that gives you 48 free games a year....
Everything about this game is looking awesome. That "Kaz... I'm already a demon." line at the end even sold me on Kiefer Sutherland's voice for Big Boss- he sounded so somber and I'll bet he'll do a great job in the full game.
