also don't expect a downloadable emulation tool on the BC-less PS3 cuz they don't have the semi-conductors needed for it (unless you use linux which would be a waste of time and power)

the only way for you to get ps2 BC is to get the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle, none of the future PS3's that we know of will have it (the 160gb model in Oct. will not have it and the new 80gb does not have it)

some stores still have the bundles so best grab one now cuz i think they'll be discontinuing it soon if not already

i got mine off of ebay cuz all the stores around me are sold out and its cheaper!

i can see why you got the new one, its cheaper, and stores are being misleading about it to get more sales (i.e Gamestop website)

hope this helps

So you want to buy a broken product thats already notorious for breaking down?

Infinite-Zr0

my friends have had their Ipods for a while and they haven't "broken down"...plus Ipod is the only thing to get if you want bigger space...everything else is super expensive...my 8gb Phillips mp3 is great but my stuff is overflowing on it....how would you consider a good apple product "broken"?

On the Apple site you can buy a refurished Ipod classic from them and save about $70 doing so..it comes in the box with everything and gets a new serial number, etc.

Has anyone done this and can testify to the condition of the Ipod they recieved and how well it worked?

Apple says it goes throught "stringent refurbishing standards" but idk how stringent it is

but it does get a 1 yr warranty

any tips, ect?

Does anyone have a definite answer (cite your answer if possible) for the following questions:

The 80gb PS3 MGS4 Bundle, how long will Sony continue to manufacture these bundles? Gamestop said they're not stopping and I've heard eslewhere that they're about to stop.

And does that 80gb ps3 in that bundle have the effecient and cool 65nm RSX processor?

Thanks in advance

well when you think about what you're getting, $399 is pretty good, but i don't see a price drop until sometime in 2009, the new 80gb ps3 w/ 40gb hardware thats coming this fall will remain 399
