EXAMS!!!! (Oh no!)

It's too soon! My first year at University is coming to a close, but before that, I have exams. And what a fantaastic week it will be. 4 Exams, 1 week. 30/10, 2/11, 3/11, 4/11. What fun.

It's HOT!!!

Well, in Melbourne we're about to start our third 30 degree plus day in a row - and its only halfway through spring!

Wednesday we had 32 degrees celsius (or 90 F), Thursday 36 (97) and today the forecast is for 30 (86). It even got up to 39 (102) in some parts of the state yesterday.

Just to put it into perspective, the last time it was hotter in Melbourne (in October) was in 1914! We've had 0.8mm of rainfall so far in October (we had 36.6mm for September).

There were 250 fires in the state of Victoria on Thursday and almost 5000 firefighters putting our those fires.

2005 was officially the hottest year ever in Australia. We may just beat it this year.

Earl out of Order

OK, this time i'm right! Channel 7 Showed Episode 1 of My Name is Earl, then Episode 2, and then last week Episode 9! Why? I don't know. I've given up trying to wonder why the Aussie networks do things like they do...

Can you ever have enough 24?

I think...yes! Especially when Channel 7 shows 4 episodes a week, between 9:30 - 11:30 on Wednesdays and Thursday nights! I love my favourite show but why are they showing the entire season in 6 weeks? They didn't get good ratings for the premire, but i think that's because it went until almost midnight two days in a row. Congratulations, Channel 7. You know how to kill a good series.

Season 1- 8:30PM (good ratings!!)
Season 2- 8:30PM (good ratings!!)
Season 3- 9:30PM, 10:30PM (bad ratings)
Season 4- 9:30PM (almost as bad ratings)
Season 5- 9:30PM, 10:30PM (bad ratings)

Hmmmm, see any trends there?
