of all the ways to improve a game either mechanically or graphically, 60fps is perhaps one of the last things that actually matter. This 60fps debate is totally blown out of proportion. 30fps is a fine standard when talking about graphics.
@elaisse2 My Xbox 360 from like 8 years ago that cost $300 can run skyrim at 30fps and looks great. My PC from 5 years ago and cost $500 cant even come close. So....
@Dook_Pukem i want this more than the witcher. after playing dragons dogma i love the idea of playing an action game with a party system. adds to the rpg element. witcher is another lonewolf title. kind of tired of all that. and its been about 13 years since i played a squad based shooter. its like dev now in days rather just script your AI buddies.
@Kooken58 the whole console vs PC debate is a continuous cycle and people forget what has happened time after time.
I sum it like this.
Lets see how a $400 PC from 2006 vs a $400 Xbox 360 from 2006 run Skyrim. It looks pretty darn good on a Xbox running at 30fps. As opposed to a 2006 PC... be lucky if the if you get 5fps at the lowest of the low settings.
Ive been a PC gamer since like the 80s. PC fanboys have a pretty short term memory
Props to this chick. Mentioning Demons Souls (the often left out title). For mentioning Dragons Dogma, which is probably the best RPG experience since Ultima 7. And for Monster Hunter, being beaten up all the time has never been more addicting.
