I could see this game being repetitive. But that boring equation the editor described seems to be in every generic FPS shooter i play. The much beloved Halo and ESPECIALLY gears suffered from the take ten steps fight the flood of bad guys, oh look something is broken defend for 10 minutes.
basing a game around loot seems like a cop out. Make a game with great mechanics, story line, good AI, well thought design....or just have tons of loot?
Diablo and just about every MMORPG does that. Everything is based on loot rather than on the gameplay itself.
Hoping to see a MMORPG where developers don't focus on loot but people will find fun to play regardless.
Im a bit rusty in quantum mechanics but I think in order to achieve a quantum processor dont you got to have temperatures near absolute zero? These super quantum computer hold records as being the coldest objects in the known universe. Something Im not sure will be available soon at all
meanwhile Bad Company 1 the BF game to actually change the series is the most over looked amazing game of the series. Its like talking about Dark Souls Dark Souls Dark Souls!!!! But forgetting to bring up Demons Souls. The game that not only started it all, but also did it better. Thats how I see BC1. Best of the series.
I think BC2 got more coverage because it plays more like COD.
Ironically I think PC ruined the this new approach to the series (for once). BC1 played phenomenally with Rush and 14v14. The maps and gameplay were designed 100% around that. BC2 and later didnt seem to be that way
I think BC 1 pretty much beat BC2 in every way just listed here.
The humor was way more funny. BC2 had drama
I like the damage system of taking more than one bullet. This had a rare system of not anything can kill you in about .15 seconds. BC 2 gun damage and ROF honestly didnt mean crap and most guns probably played about 95% the same. BC1 gave you the chance to take more hits so that meant that the range of what a gun can do was more varied.
Friendly Fire was always on. Artillery and grenades used carelessly will kill your teammates.
First game to introduce such an amazing environmental damage
Classes were actually balanced (a sniper didnt have a SMG or shotgun). Sniper had a sniper gun and engineers had explosives and shotguns. There that was simple.
Sound was amazing
14v14 played better than any 64v64 game i ever played. The introduced rush mode was genius.
Seems like people are ignroing the "2" in Bad Company 2.
Basically BC2 is considered the best because more people got to experience BC2. BC1 was the only DICE game of the past 10 years that didnt feel like a COD rip off. The maps, the classes, damage, were all unique and not catered to the COD fan boys ,that jumped ship when BC2 came out. (I guess further proof BC2 felt more like COD).
But ya DICE are A holes for not appreciating this series.
Oh hey we have a modern day warfare series with great characters called Bad Company.
And since we havent made a BF game in about 15 years lets make ANOTHER modern day warfare game with a generic story like COD is doing.
Would of been cool if BF3 triumphant return paid homage to BF 1942 by doing a WW2 theme game.
@hitomo walks like a duck, looks like a duck, but instead of going quack it goes quackk. Nothing really new to see here kidies. This is like MMO V 1.0002A. And it only took 15 years to get there
